WWE SummerSlam and NXT Takeover weekend (reports needed), ROH in the UK (reports needed), Impact on Twitch TV, next Evolve dates, Paige, Melissa Anderson

-WWE SummerSlam will be held on Sunday in Brooklyn, New York at Barclays Center. The show is headlined by Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship and will also feature AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe for the WWE Championship, Alexa Bliss vs. Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship, and the Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz showdown match. Join me for live coverage beginning with Kickoff Show notes at 4CT/5ET. Jake Barnett and I will co-host an audio review after the show on Sunday night.

-NXT Takeover: Brooklyn will be held on Saturday in Brooklyn, New York at Barclays Center. The event features Tommaso Ciampa vs. Johnny Gargano in a last man standing match for the NXT Championship, and Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly vs. Tyler Bate and Trent Seven for the NXT Tag Titles. Join John Moore for live coverage beginning with the pre-show at 5CT/6ET on Saturday night. I will be by afterward with my members’ exclusive audio review.

-There are no WWE live events this weekend due to SummerSlam, but there are several wrestler meet and greets at various locations. Plus, Elias is holding a concert on Saturday at the Grammercy Theater in New York. -Ring of Honor is in Doncaster, England at the Doncaster Dome on Saturday with the following advertised lineup: The Briscoes vs. Jody Fleisch and Johnny Storm, Punishment Martinez vs. Delirious in a Proving Ground match, Tenille Dashwood vs. Chardonnay, The Young Bucks vs. Jay Lethal and a partner, a four corner survival match that includes Marty Scurll, and the semifinals and finals of the ROH International Cup. This event and Sunday’s event are available for purchase on FITE TV.

-ROH is in London, England at York Hall on Sunday with the following advertised lineup: The Young Bucks vs. Jody Fleisch and Johnny Storm, Tenille Dashwood vs. Ayesha Raymond, Jay Lethal defends the ROH Championship against the winner of the ROH International Cup, and Marty Scurll vs. Jay Briscoe.

-Impact Wrestling and Next Generation Wrestling are running an event on Sunday in Knoxville, Tennessee at the Knoxville Convention Center. The event will be broadcast via Twitch TV at 3CT/4ET.

-The next Evolve dates are Evolve 112 on September 7 in Joppa, Maryland, and Evolve 113 on September 8 in Queens, New York.
