Thursday’s Impact Wrestling television drew 168,000 total viewers on Pop TV, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was down from the 248,000 viewers the show accumulated the previous week.

Powell’s POV: Ouch. Impact aired opposite the first night of NFL preseason games following last week’s single Hall of Fame game. While the New York Giants vs. Cleveland Browns game delivered 1.927 viewers for NFL Network, there were also plenty of games airing in their local markets. Again, though, it’s not going to get any easier once the regular season arrives after Labor Day. Last year, Impact Wrestling produced 277,000 viewers for the August 10 edition.
