Deonna Purrazzo on being named an entrant in the WWE Mae Young Classic 2018

Deonna Purrazzo spoke with Brian Fritz of Sporting News about being named one of the latest entrants in the WWE Mae Young Classic tournament and noted that she was an alternate last year. “Even though I was an alternate, I got to see these 32 incredible women change women’s wrestling,” Purrazzo said. “Regardless of me being in it or not, to see that first hand and that energy at Full Sail last year was amazing. She also discussed the WWE Hall of Famer who influenced her at a young age and her desire to be part of the change in the empowerment of women in the industry.
