WWE announced the release of Big Cass (William Morrissey) on Tuesday. Read the official announcement at WWE.com.

Powell’s POV: There were reports a while back about Cass having heat for going off script in a segment with the little person who was dressed like Daniel Bryan. Obviously, he stuck around beyond that point. I was told today that things have been building up to this point and the decision was likely made before he was booked to put over Daniel Bryan at WWE Money in the Bank on Sunday.

  1. That took too little too long in my opinion. They should’ve just bounced him back when they let Enzo go. I wonder if Carmella will end up seeing someone else now…

  2. That’s a cold, cold notice from WWE. Not even a “best wishes in his future endeavors.”
