WWE Raw will reportedly be staying with NBC Universal. HollywoodReporter.com reports that NBCU is paying nearly three times the current rate for Raw, but it will allow Smackdown to enter opening bidding.

Powell’s POV: Neither NBCU nor WWE have commented on the matter. Fox is listed in the story as a potential home for Smackdown, though it’s unstated whether it would be the Fox broadcast network or a seemingly more likely Fox cable network such as FS1. WWE has previously stated that their new television deal will be announced sometime between now and September. The company’s current contract with NBCU runs through September 2019, meaning both shows will remain on USA Network until that time.
