Dot Net reader Ben Shearin attended WWE Smackdown in Louisville, Kentucky at KFC Yum! Center on Tuesday and sent the following report.

-The New Day beat The Bar in a pre-show dark match. A comedy match pretty much just to get the crowd going.

-Video packages all night. The crowd didn’t seem as hot throughout the night in the building, but I don’t know how it came off on television.

-Huge “Rusev Day” and “Wooooo” chants all night.

-Before the television main event we were told our (dark) main dvent of the evening would be The Miz vs Jeff Hardy for the U.S. Title. This was instead of the double main event that was advertised with AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Title and Carmella vs. Charlottethe Smackdown Women’s Title.

-Most of the crowd left before 205 Live, but those of us who stuck around go great action with the gauntlet match.

-In the post show dark match, Jeff Hardy beat The Miz to retain the U.S. Title. Hardy sold his knee injury from earlier in the night. Miz got most of the offense and even did the “It” kicks for some good heat. Jeff hit the Twist of Fate and the Swanton to end the night and send us all home.

-NXT Live was announced as coming to the Broadbent Arena on June 14.
