Triple H announced on Saturday that the United Kingdom Championship Tournament will be held on Monday June 18 and Tuesday June 19 in London, England at Royal Albert Hall. Read more at WWE.com.

Powell’s POV: WWE listed a “King of the Ring UK Tournament” in their advertising for new network programming on Friday, but the branding of the tournament announced today is obviously different. I reached out to WWE for comment. It’s a busy weekend for their PR staff to say the last, but I’ll let you know if I hear an official update. Meanwhile, the Royal Albert Hall lists a capacity of 5,272 seats, while last year’s host the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool has a listed capacity of 3,000. It will be great to see the talented UK wrestlers working in the tournament setting again.
