WWE announced that Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler will be the guest commentators for the Andre the Giant Memorial battle royal. They also announced that Beth Phoenix will be a guest commentator for the women’s battle royal. Both matches will air on Sunday’s WrestleMania Kickoff Show. Read more at WWE.com.
Powell’s POV: It’s a nice touch to add Ross and Lawler to the show. Lawler recently indicated that he and Ross will also reunite for the Greatest Royal Rumble event on April 27, which has not been made official by WWE yet. Meanwhile, Phoenix was a color commentator for the Mixed Match Challenge that wrapped up on Tuesday. The WrestleMania Kickoff Show begins at 4CT/5ET, and the second hour will air on USA Network. WWE is also advertising Cedric Alexander vs. Mustafa Ali for the Kickoff Show.
