NWA 10 Pounds of Gold Video – “Keep Friends Close” featuring Nick Aldis vs. Anthony “Crimson” Mayweather for the NWA Championship, Jeff Jarrett appears and two other cameos

By Jason Powell, Prowrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

The fifteenth installment of the NWA’s “10 Pounds of Gold” digital series focusses on Nick Aldis vs. Anthony “Crimson” Mayweather for the NWA Championship from a Tried N True Pro Wrestling event in Clarksville,Tennessee. Check out the video below or at the NWA Wrestling Youtube page.

Powell’s POV: The video features a good buildup to the match with Aldis stating that Mayweather promoting the show added extra pressure and would fall into the in-ring traps that he set for him. There is also an appearance by soon to be WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett along with footage from the actual match. It’s another good video and Aldis is really excellent in this format in that he is a terrific talker who understands how to sell his matches in a realistic manner. The match plays out in a way that a rematch would be logical, but based on who showed up it looks like they’re going in another direction first. Or maybe not since a legend showed up at the end of the video. Check out the new video below along with the previous installments of the series (start at the bottom to watch from the beginning).
