1. El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru defeated Ryusuke Taguchi and Tetsuhiro Yagi.

2. David Finlay, Ren Narita, and Toa Henare beat Shota Umino, Tomoyuki Oka, and Yuji Nagata.

3. Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Lance Archer beat Tanga Loa and Yujiro Takahashi.

4. Kota Ibushi and Chase Owens beat Zack Sabre Jr. and Taka Michinoku.

5. Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano, and Chuckie T beat Tetsuya Naito, Sanada, and Bushi.

6. Kazuchika Okada, Hirooki Goto, and Yoshi-Hashi beat Minoru Suzuki, Taichi, and Takashi Iizuka.

7. Juice Robinson beat Michael Elgin in a New Japan Cup tournament quarterfinal match.

8. Hiroshi Tanahashi defeated Bad Luck Fale in a New Japan Cup tournament quarterfinal match.

Powell’s POV: Robinson and Tanahashi will meet in the tournament semifinals. The remaining quarterfinal matches on Thursday’s show feature Kota Ibushi vs. Zack Sabre Jr. and Sanada vs. Turo Yanao. Today’s event was only available with Japanese commentary on New Japan World. My next full review will be for tomorrow’s event once the English commentary returns.
