Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live scored a 1.71 rating, down from the 1.80 rating the show drew last week. As previously noted, the show averaged 2.590 million viewers, down from last week’s 2.692 million viewers.

Powell’s POV: It has to be disappointing to see declines heading into the Fastlane event. Last week’s show was built around John Cena’s return to Smackdown, whereas WWE didn’t provide much hype for this week’s edition until the day of the show. The March 7, 2017 edition of Smackdown delivered a 1.94 rating with 2.738 million viewers.
