Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live scored a 1.80 rating, up from the 1.76 rating the show drew last week. As previously noted, the show averaged 2.720 million viewers, up from last week’s 2.656 million viewers.

Powell’s POV: Monday’s Raw delivered a 1.94 rating with 2.865 viewers, so the gap is not as substantial as it once was. That said, we’ll see how Raw delivers now that they are through the holidays and won’t have football competition after next Monday’s college championship game. The January 3, 2017 edition of Smackdown delivered a 1.78 rating with 2.596 million viewers.
