Rey Mysterio challenges Jushin Thunder Liger to a match on the NJPW U.S. event (video included)

By Jason Powell, Prowrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

Rey Mysterio issued a video challenge to Jushin Thunder Liger that aired at the New Japan Pro Wrestling event in Osaka, Japan. Mysterio challenged Liger to a match at the NJPW Strong Style Evolved show that will be held on March 25 in Long Beach, California.

Powell’s POV: Mysterio officially announced that he will be making his first NJPW appearance at the Long Beach event. Both men may be past their in-ring peak, but this is still a dream match and a great addition to the NJPW event, which will be broadcast live by AXS TV.
