-The Impact Wrestling television show includes Eli Drake vs. Johnny Impact vs. Alberto El Patron for the Impact Wrestling Global Championship. The same match aired last week from a Border City Wrestling event in Detroit, whereas this match was taped at the Impact venue. Impact airs on Pop TV at 7CT/8ET. John Moore’s review will be available on Friday morning, and my Impact Wrestling audio review and Hit List will also be available on Friday.

-Dot Net Members will be listening to the new Dot Net Weekly audio show featuring Jake Barnett and I discussing all the news of the week. Join us on the ad-free version of the site and access and our entire audio history by signing up for membership today via the Dot Net Members’ Signup Page.

-NXT is taping television tonight and Friday night in Atlanta, Georgia at Center Stage.

-We are looking for reports from the NXT TV tapings and live events listed below. If you are going to one of these events or another upcoming show and want to help by sending in a report, contact me at dotnetjason@gmail.com

-NXT is in Largo, Florida at Minnreg Hall on Saturday with the local crew.

-NXT is in Nashville, Tennessee at the War Memorial Auditorium on Saturday with the traveling crew.

-NXT is in Knoxville, Tennessee at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum on Sunday with the traveling crew.

-NXT Takeover: Philadelphia received an A grade vote from 77 percent of our voters. Only nine voters gave the show a C or worse grade. Andrade Almas vs. Johnny Gargano for the NXT Title was voted best match of the night with 87 percent of the vote. I agree with the majority of voters in both cases.

-The WWE Royal Rumble event received a majority B grade from 46 percent of the voters. 38 percent of the voters gave the show an A grade. The Royal Rumble best match went to the men’s match over the women’s match by just four votes. I gave the show a B+ in the members’ exclusive audio review, and I picked the men’s Royal Rumble match as the best match of the night.

-Monday’s WWE Raw received a majority vote of B as the letter grade with 33 percent of the vote, and C came in second with 26 percent of the vote. I gave the show a C grade.

Birthdays and Notables

-Dennis Condrey of Midnight Express fame is 66. How is this great tag team not in the WWE Hall of Fame? Let’s hope this is the year for Condrey, Bobby Eaton, and Stan Lane.
