WWE announces two matches for Smackdown Live

By Jason Powell, Prowrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

The following matches are advertised for Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live television show.

-Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn for a shot at the WWE Championship.

-Bobby Roode vs. Rusev for the U.S. Championship.

Powell’s POV: The winner of the Owens vs. Zayn match will challenge AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at the WWE Fastlane event on March 11 in Columbus, Ohio. Meanwhile, Rusev won a four-way match to earn the title match with Roode. It’s encouraging to see WWE booking matches a week out.
