Brian Kendrick suffered a broken nose and a broken orbital bone during Monday’s Raw, according to the WWE website. The injury occurred when he took a GTS from Hideo Itami on Monday’s Raw. “A fracture was suspected, and he was taken to a local emergency care facility in Chicago where a CT scan confirmed a diagnosis of an orbital wall fracture and a minimally displaced nasal bridge fracture,” WWE physician Chris Amann told WWE.com.

Powell’s POV: It wasn’t such a merry Christmas for Kendrick. The story offered no timeline for his return to the ring. If you missed the show, you can check out how the injury occurred around 1:20 of this WWE Youtube video or view it out below. It’s also worth listening to Raw color commentator Corey Graves state seconds after the finish that he would be surprised if Kendrick didn’t suffer a broken nose or a fractured orbital bone.
