The following contains the result of the NWA Championship match between Tim Storm and Nick Aldis that was held at Sunday’s Championship Wrestling From Hollywood television taping in Port Hueneme, California at Oceanview Pavilion.
-Tim Storm defeated Nick Aldis to retain the NWA Championship.
Powell’s POV: This was the first NWA Championship match since Billy Corgan purchased the brand. It was broadcast via Facebook Live. Many of us assumed that Storm would either be stripped of the title or lose in his first defense once Corgan purchased the brand, but Corgan and Dave Lagana have done a nice job of establishing Storm as a likable personality trough a series of videos. That said, the match was rough in terms of quality with Storm struggling to hold up his end.
