Jeff Hardy is scheduled to undergo surgery for a torn rotator cuff and a torn labrum on October 3, according to the WWE website. “Once they get in there, they’ll figure out more about what they have to repair, Hardy said. “But for sure, the rotator cuff has to be repaired, and then they’ll look at the labrum when they get in there.” Read more at WWE.com.

Powell’s POV: In other words, there is no timeline yet in terms of how long he will be sidelined, as that will be determined once he has the surgery. The story added that Jeff suffered the injury during last week’s six-pack challenge match on Raw. Jeff also noted that he would not rule out appearing on television while he heals, so it’s possible that he will appear again before he’s recovered. It will be interesting to see what WWE does with Matt Hardy’s character in the meantime.
