WWE announces JBL’s replacement on Smackdown Live

WWE has announced that Corey Graves will replace JBL on the Smackdown Live broadcast team. JBL announced his departure from the broadcast team on Friday while adding that he will maintain his relationship with the company. Read more at WWE.com.

Powell’s POV: Graves will work on both Raw and Smackdown as a color commentator. Meanwhile, Nigel McGuinness will take over Graves’s duties on 205 Live and WWE Main Event. It’s a wise move for WWE, as Graves is their best color commentator.

  1. I don’t hear what others hear when Graves does color. I find him quite boorish and heel Michael Cole levels of annoying at times.
