Battle Royal and a comedian added to WWE Smackdown Live (Washington D.C. correspondents needed)

WWE has added a tag team battle royal to determine the No. 1 contenders to the Smackdown Tag Titles held by The Wyatt Family. WWE is also advertising that comedian Gabriel Iglesias will appear on the show.

Powell’s POV: American Alpha would seem to be the favorites to win the battle royal, but it’s also possible that they are setting up a quick one and one for television involving the Wyatt Family and another team. By the way, WWE recently announced that the Wyatt Family is also able to defend the tag titles using Freebird Rules, meaning any combination of Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, and Luke Harper can defend the titles. Heck, perhaps Erick Rowan will be able to do the same if he’s back with the family once he returns from surgery.
