WWE Smackdown has a four-man broadcast team

newsmackdownlogo1WWE announced that the Smackdown Live television show has a four-man broadcast team. Tom Phillips is joining the team of Mauro Ranallo, JBL, and David Otunga. WWE.com adds that Phillips will continue to call NXT television.

Powell’s POV: Phillips does a fine job, but the broadcast booth was already crowded with three members. And, yes, they did emphasize in the story that there will be a four-man broadcast team “every Tuesday night” on Smackdown. Screw it, let’s not stop there. Add Renee Young and Jerry Lawler to the team and get the production crew to build the first ever double decker broadcast table for the six-person crew.
