WWE star Finn Balor working as an guest enforcer at an independent event

balor1The following press release was issued by Insane Championship Wrestling to Prowrestling.net to announce that Finn Balor will appear at an upcoming event.

Insane Championship Wresting have announced that, at the biggest event in the company’s history, Fear & Loathing IX, former ICW Zero –G Champion and first ever WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor will make his return to the company for one night only, acting as the Special Guest Enforcer for the evening!

Due to Commissioner Mick Foley not being able to attend Fear & Loathing IX, on Sunday November 20th at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Finn Balor will make his triumphant return to Insane Championship Wrestling on this historic night to make sure that everything goes smoothly. With so many huge matches set to take place on November 20th though, including a Steel Cage match between Wolfgang & Trent Seven for the ICW World Heavyweight Champion, and the huge Team Dallas vs Team Black Label match for 100% control of the company, Balor will have his work cut out for him, as he returns to Glasgow for one night only, in front of the wild ICW crowd at Fear & Loathing IX!

Powell’s POV: It’s cool to see that WWE agreed to let this happen, as it would have been a blow to the group had they lost access to Foley and didn’t have a suitable replacement. They ended up coming out on top in this case given Balor’s popularity in the area. If you attend the show, you are encouraged to send a report (or the basic results) to dotnetjason@gmail.com
