WWE developmental signee Terrance Jean-Jacques was arrested on Sunday and later charged with several crimes including allegedly striking his pregnant girlfriend. The Eagle Tribune of Massachusetts reports that Jean-Jacques has been charged with assault and battery, kidnapping, witness intimidation, destruction of property and threatening to commit a crime. Prowrestling.net reached out to WWE and received the following comment: “We have zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, and per our policy, Terrance Jean-Jacques has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest.”

Powell’s POV: Zero tolerance would require termination in my book. However, the company may simply be letting this play out in court before taking action. After all, they took the same approach by suspending Jerry Lawler following a domestic incident and then reinstated him once the charges against him were dropped.

Update: The WWE policy laid out on their corporate website indicates that an arrest on domestic assault leads to a suspension, and a conviction leads to immediate termination.
