WWE announced that an NXT Takeover live special will be held the night before Survivor Series. The event will be held on November 19 in Toronto, Ontario at Air Canada Centre. Tickets go on sale on Friday, September 23. Read the official announcement at WWE.com.
Powell’s POV: Along with the news of the Takeover event in Toronto comes word that the company has cancelled the live events that were scheduled for Toronto, St. Catharines, and Kitchener, Ontario on September 22-24. However, fans who hold tickets to those events will not only get a refund, they will also get a special pre-sale code for the NXT Takeover show. WWE will now be running Air Canada Centre three nights in a row with NXT, Survivor Series, and Raw.
