-TNA Impact Wrestling features Broken Matt and now Broken Jeff Hardy vs. BroMans vs. The Tribunal vs. Trevor Lee and Andrew Everett in a four-way ladder match to become No. 1 contenders to the TNA Tag Titles. Impact airs 7CT/8ET time slot on Pop TV. I will not be able to cover Impact live for the next couple of months. However, John Moore’s review of the show will be available later tonight or on Friday morning.

-Dot Net Members will be listening to the new Dot Net Weekly audio show with Jason Powell and Will Pruett on Friday. We will be discussing the big WWE SummerSlam weekend and the news of the week. -WWE was scheduled to hold a SummerSlam concert tonight at Barclays Center tonight featuring Flo Rida, Jason Derulo, Daya, and Jordan Hollywood. However, the event was cancelled “due to unforeseen circumstances” according to the arena website. I suspect those circumstances are poor ticket sales.

-There are no NXT live events this weekend with NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II taking place on Saturday night in Brooklyn. Join me for live coverage of that event as the show airs.

Birthdays and Notables

-Tom Prichard is 57 today.
