Heath Slater misses show after suffering a cut the night before

Logo_WWE_dnHeath Slater did not wrestle on Sunday’s WWE live event in Augusta, Maine due to an injury in Bangor, Maine. Slater required 18 sutures over his right eye on Saturday following a match with Titus O’Neil.

Powell’s POV: WWE Dr. Stephen Daquino is quoted by WWE.com as saying the cut was “quite open, right down to the bone.” Slater was replaced by Baron Corbin, who won a quick match over O’Neil in Augusta.
