NXT Takeover: The End
Aired live on WWE Network
Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University

-The pre-show opened with a shot outside Full Sail University. The team of Renee Young, Lita, and Corey Graves checked in from their indoor (boo) set and ran through the lineup.

-Cathy Kelley and Mike Rome checked in from outside the building.

-An Asuka vs. Nia Jax video package aired. The hosts discussed their match and then went to a break that included a video package for Andrade “Cien” Almas unmasking (his face was not shown).

-Graves said Almas has a big challenge in Tye Dillinger and he doesn’t know if he can beat him.

-A Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Austin Aries video package aired. Lita said she loves that Nakamura’s dance moves being backed up by sheer power. Graves said Aries calls himself The Greatest Man That Ever Lived and tonight he has to prove it. He said Nakamura already seems to be inside the head of Aries. Graves and Lita both picked Nakamura to win.

-Footage aired of Samoa Joe arriving at the building earlier in the day. They took another break.

-Dash and Dawson were interviewed backstage. Dawson said tonight is the end of American Alpha.

-A video package aired on the main event of Samoa Joe vs. Finn Balor in a cage match for the NXT Championship. Graves predicted that Joe will retain the title, and Lita said that Balor never being in a cage match could actually work to his advantage. She said he will throw caution to the win. She said the longer the fight goes, the more Joe could have an advantage and said Balor needs to win early.

-The hosts wrapped up the show with Young asking about the title of the show and whether this is truly the end of Joe vs. Balor. Lita said it could be and asked where you go from a steel cage. Oh, the good old days. Graves said tonight is the end of Balor in NXT.
