Brock Lesnar is in serious talks with UFC about a return to MMA for the UFC 200 event that will take place on July 9 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ariel Helwani of MMA Fighting reports that while talks are progressing, an opponent has not been finalized. Read more at MMAFighting.com.
Powell’s POV: One can only assume that Lesnar has been training for the fight since it’s just over a month away. His last fight in UFC took place in December 2011. He negotiated to fight Fedor Emelianenko in 2012, but the deal fell through and Lesnar announced his retirement from the sport when he re-signed with WWE in March 2015.
