Pro Wrestling Guerrilla announced that Zack Sabre Jr. will not be able to wrestle at Friday’s event in Reseda, California. Sabre was scheduled to defend the PWG Championship against Michael Elgin. PWG has announced that Elgin will face Kamaitachi instead.

Powell’s POV: Sabre acknowledged that he will miss the show and also said he will miss his scheduled PWX debut in North Carolina on Saturday. He did not provide a timeline for his return to the ring. He is scheduled to work the WWE Cruiserweight Classic, which begins taping on June 23. Update: The date for the first taping was mistakenly listed in this story as July 13, which is actually when the show will premiere on WWE Network.
