Thursday’s WWE Smackdown scored a 1.71 rating, up from the 1.70 rating the show drew last week. As previously noted, the show averaged 2.431 million viewers, up from last week’s 2.355 million viewers.
Powell’s POV: Smackdown performed well against NBA playoff competition. However, next week will be much tougher when they are opposed by the first night of the NFL Draft. One year ago, the April 23, 2015 Smackdown delivered a 1.92 rating with 2.642 million viewers.
