TNA announced that the company and Velvet Sky (a/k/a Jamie Lynn Szantyr) mutually agreed not to renew her contract. “This has been my home for 10 years and, no matter what happens in my future, I will never forget where I’ve come from or the people who have helped me get where I am,” Sky stated in a story at ImpactWrestling.com. “Thank you to everyone at TNA – from talent to production to crew -who has helped me do what I love.”
Powell’s POV: Sky worked her final TNA date at Friday’s television taping. It will be interesting to see if she draws any WWE interest. She dates Bubba Ray Dudley, and I think she’d be a fun addition to the Dudley Boyz act.
