-The WWE Smackdown television taping for Thursday’s television show will be held tonight in San Diego, California at Valley View Casino. WWE is advertising The Vaudevillains vs. Goldust and R-Truth, and Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. The Ascension in tag team tournament matches to determine the No. 1 contenders.

-TNA Impact airs on Pop TV tonight at 8:00 p.m. CT. The show features Beer Money putting the TNA Tag Titles on the line against various teams in an open challenge, and EC3 vs. “The Miracle” Mike Bennett. Join me for live coverage of Impact as the show airs on Pop TV tonight. John Moore will be by on Tuesday with the TNA Impact Wrestling Hit List.

-The “Off The Top Rope” segment on ESPNews airs tonight during the 8:00 p.m. CT hour. Host Jonathan Coachman will interview The Miz and Maryse.

-Mike Von Erich (a/k/a Michael Adkisson) took his own life at age 23 on April 12, 1987.

-Retired pro wrestler “Dirty White Boy” Tony Anthony is 56. He had a brief WWE run as TL Hopper.
