Logo_TNA_dn_600Ken Anderson’s release from TNA earlier this year was reportedly the result of a failed drug test. Prowrestlingsheet.com reports that Anderson appeared to be under the influence during a January 19 match against Eric Young that was so poor that it did not air on television as planned. TNA officials tested Anderson afterward and sent him home.

Powell’s POV: Neither Anderson nor TNA have confirmed nor denied the story. Anderson drew attention to the situation by playing into fan chants of “f— TNA” during an independent even over the weekend. He agreed with the crowd’s sentiment while noting that he no longer worked for the company.
