WWE Divas Champion Charlotte (a/k/a Ashley Fliehr) issued her first comment since her match with Becky Lynch was cut short on Friday night due to injury. Charlotte wrote on Twitter: “Hey guys!!! Powell’s POV: Charlotte bled heavily during the match with Lynch at Friday’s live event in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The referee and medical personnel checked on her and the match was quickly declared a no-contest. It was an awkward moment, yet also a wise decision to put her health ahead of delivering a match finish. I attended the show and it was difficult to tell from my vantage point what the nature of the injury was, as she immediately covered her face and then it was covered by a towel as she was escorted backstage. It was a scary moment, so I’m happy to see she is going to be okay.
