Pro wrestling legend Hayabusa dead at age 47

wrestlingringEiji Ezaki, who wrestled at Hayabusa, was found dead on Thursday at age 47. Tokyo Sports lists the cause of death as a brain hemorrhage.

Powell’s POV: Ezaki was forced to retire from the ring following a 2001 injury that left him paralyzed. He recovered to the point that he was able to walk short distances. A number of wrestlers have taken to Twitter to comment on Hayabusa’s death. AJ Styles labeled him as “one of the most unique and innovative wrestlers ever.” My condolences to his friends and family.
