Tama Tonga of the Guerrillas of Destiny tag team took to Twitter to rip the commentary of the New Japan G1 Special broadcasts. “Commentating sucked at the #G1Special..at least @realkevinkelly knows the storylines and OUR F#CKING NAMES,” Tonga wrote.
Powell’s POV: The broadcast team for the G1 Specials on AXS featured Jim Ross and Josh Barnett. The fact that Tonga mentioned Kevin Kelly, who does play-by-play for the NJPW streaming service, would seem to suggest that his criticism was directed at Ross in particular.

Well, Tama Tonga, if your name was worth knowing then the best play by play voice of all time would know it. Keep your lower midcard self in check you third rate spot monkey jackoff.
Lower midcard or not, doesn’t change the fact that JR was beyond awful at the G1. Quit being a mark.
Him and his brother were in the tag title match on that show and are the former champs. With all due respect to JR, in that case scenario their names are worth knowing.
