2. Juice Robinson, Yoshi-Hashi, Yuji Nagata, and Manabu Nakanishi beat Taiji Ishimori, Bad News Fale, Chase Owens, and Hikuelo.

3. Sanada, Bushi, and Shingo Takagi defeated Hirooki Goto, Tomoaki Honma, and Ren Narita.

4. Davey Boy Smith Jr., Lance Archer, and Taichi beat Will Ospreay, Toru Yano, and Tomohiro Ishii.

5. Colt Cabana, Michael Elgin, and Mikey Nicholls beat Kazuchika Okada, Togi Makabe, and Toa Henare.

6. Ryusuke Taguchi defeated Hiroyoshi Tenzan in a New Japan Cup tournament first round match.

7. Hiroshi Tanahashi defeated Shota Umino in a New Japan Cup tournament first round match.

8. Zack Sabre Jr. defeated Evil in a New Japan Cup tournament first round match.

9. Kota Ibushi defeated Tetsuya Naito in a New Japan Cup tournament first round match.
