WWE has erased any doubt about whether Brock Lesnar will appear at Saturday’s live event in Chicago, Illinois. Paul Heyman tweeted that he and Lesnar “fully intend to honor our contractual obligations” and will appear at the event. WWE.com also ran the story.
Powell’s POV: It was a wise move for WWE to confirm that Lesnar will appear as advertised despite the story they are telling with him and Roman Reigns. It may have hurt the walkup sales if Chicago fans were uncertain as to whether he would actually appear. As noted yesterday, Lesnar will face Kane on Saturday in Chicago, and The Miz at the live event in Minneapolis on March 9. His next Raw television appearance is advertised for Detroit, Michigan on March 12. We are looking for reports on the Chicago and Minneapolis event (I will be covering the ROH pay-per-view that night) and all WWE house shows. If you are going to an upcoming show and want to help, email me at dotnetjason@gmail.com
