MLW Fusion results (11/5): Vetter’s review of the MLW SuperFight go-home show featuring Killer Kross vs. Donovan Dijak for the MLW Championship, Big Damo vs. Oddyssey in an Opera Cup match

By Chris Vetter, ProWrestling.net Contributor (@chrisvetter73)

MLW Fusion (Episode 220)
Taped June 12, 2026, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at 2300 Arena
Streamed November 5, 2026, on Tubi (Saturdays on MLW’s YouTube Channel and Veeps)

Tubi lists this episode as “Season 8, Episode 26.” This is the fourth episode from the taping at the 2300 Arena. Joe Dombrowski and Tom Lawlor provided commentary. Austin Aries joined them for the main event. I’ll reiterate that the production quality of MLW has never been better than the tapings throughout 2026.

* A video package aired of the feud between Killer Kross and Josh Bishop.

1. Big Damo (w/Josef Samael) vs. Oddyssey in an Opera Cup quarterfinal match. Spellcheck really wants to change “Oddyssey” for me. Two big guys here! A clean lockup, and neither man could budge the other. Samael distracted Oddyssey, allowing Damo to hit a running crossbody block at 2:30. Damo choked him in the ropes. Josef did, too. Dombrowski and Lawlor were irate at the cheating, saying this shouldn’t happen during the prestigious Opera Cup! Damo hit a senton at 5:00, and he kept Oddyssey grounded. They got up and traded forearm strikes.

Oddyssey hit some hard back elbows in the corner and a sidewalk slam for a nearfall at 6:30. Damo hit a leaping elbow drop for a nearfall. Oddyssey hit his own running crossbody block! He hit a splash to the mat for a nearfall at 8:00, but Samael put Damo’s foot on the ropes. Oddyssey rolled to the floor and stalked Samael. Damo distracted the ref; Brick Savage came out of the back and struck Oddyssey in the back with a chairshot! The ref made the 20-count! He tried to get back in, but Samael tripped him as he staggered by. Good big-man brawl with nothing decided.

Big Damo defeated Oddyssey via count-out at 9:19 to advance to the semifinals.

* Footage aired of the feud between “The Good Brothers” Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows and “Glasgow Boys On Top” Mark Coffey, Joe Coffey and Wolfgang. They’ll meet at the “SuperFight” pay-per-view in a street fight this Saturday in Cicero (suburban Chicago)!

* A video package aired for Masha vs. Zamaya, also at SuperFight on Saturday!

* Backstage, Matt Riddle was playing on his phone. Killer Kross sat down next to him. Riddle wished him well later tonight against Donovan Dijak.

2. Jumbo vs. Joey Martinez and Breaux Keller in a handicap match. Jumbo is a 6’4″ 400-pounder; he’s a head-turner, no doubt about it! Dombrowski reminded us his last match took just 10 seconds. Keller and Martinez were “already in the ring.” They both attacked, but Jumbo hip-tossed one, then the other. He hit a running splash into the corner on both of them. They (conveniently) fell on top of each other. Jumbo made the one-footed cover for the pin.

Jumbo defeated Jumbo Martinez and Breaux Keller in a handicap match at 1:01.

* Rich Bocchini was about to interview Glasgow Boys on Top, but the Good Brothers confronted them, and they had to be held apart.

* A video package aired for the Austin Aries vs. Matt Riddle match at SuperFight!

3. Templario vs. Soberano Jr. vs. Ikuro Kwon (w/Okumura). This is a NON-title match. Templario wore his white gear with red lining. He hit a huracanrana on Kwon. Soberano hit a top-rope huracanrana on Templario. Kwon pulled Soberano to the floor and punched him repeatedly in the gut. In the ring, Kwon and Templario traded punches. Soberano hit a frog splash on Kwon for a nearfall at 2:30. Soberano Jr. hit a Styles Clash on Templario, dropping him onto Kwon for a nearfall. [C]

Soberano hit a buzzsaw kick as we returned from the commercial break. Templario hit a powerslam on Kwon at 4:30, then he slammed Soberano onto Kwon. He dove through the ropes and barreled onto Soberano. He got back in the ring and dove onto Kwon and Okumura on the other side of the ring! Kwon and Templario traded punches in the ring, and Kwon hit a German Suplex for a nearfall at 6:30.

They each hit a superkick on someone, and suddenly all three were down! Templario hit a pop-up knee strike on Kwon. Okumura tripped Templario. Soberano hit a moonsault on Kwon for a nearfall, but Okumura grabbed the ref. Templario hit a Cedric-style Lumbar Check on Soberano for the pin! Really good action.

Templario defeated Soberano Jr. and Ikuro Kwon in a three-way at 7:58.

* Dombrowski announced a new match for SuperFight! It will be Templario and Titan vs. Black Tiger and Ultimo Guerrero!

4. Killer Kross (w/Scarlett Bordeaux) vs. Donovan Dijak for the MLW World Title. The crowd loudly chanted profanities at Dijak before the bell. We got the bell, but Dijak tapped on his wrist, indicating he had all the time in the world. They eventually locked up 40 seconds in and traded standing switches. Donovan stalled on the floor. They tied up again at 3:00, and Dijak shoved him to the mat, mounted him, and punched Kross in the face.

Dijak choked Kross in the ropes. Dijak clotheslined him over the top rope to the floor, and they brawled at ringside. Dijak jawed at Scarlett, so she slapped him at 5:00. Kross clocked Donovan, who fell over the guardrail and into the crowd! They got back into the crowd, and Dijak tied him up on the mat and jawed at him. [C]

Back from the break, Kross hit a sit-out chokeslam for a nearfall, and they were both down at 7:00. (Dombrowski used this time to race through the matches on SuperFight!) Dijak playfully kicked Kross, and he jawed at the crowd. (The crowd got really loud… maybe some sweetener there.) Kross kicked him in the stomach and hit a DDT, then a running clothesline at 8:30. Dijak nailed the Cyclone Mafia Kick for a nearfall. He missed a moonsault but landed on his feet! Kross hit a German Suplex.

They traded punches and forearm strikes while on their knees. They got up, and Kross hit a hard back elbow and a Diamond Cutter at 10:30! Kross hit a Saito Suplex. He accidentally hit the ref! Dijak immediately hit a low-blow uppercut, and they were both down. Dijak called for someone from the back! However, Josh Bishop didn’t come out! Kross stood up, applied the Kross-Jacket sleeper hold, and fell backward to the mat with the hold locked in. Dijak held on for a few seconds but frantically tapped out.

Killer Kross defeated Donovan Dijak to retain the MLW World Title at 12:36.

* Kross and Scarlett celebrated on the entrance ramp. Josh Bishop came out of the back and glared at Kross. No punches were thrown. Bishop instead got into the ring. Dijak got on the mic and said, “Look who finally decided to f—en show up.” The crowd taunted Donovan for tapping out. Dijak berated Bishop for not coming out and “following the plan.” Dijak slapped Bishop across the face, so Bishop grabbed him and hit a standing powerbomb! He then hit a release Razor’s Edge, tossing Dijak through a table in the ring.

Final Thoughts: A good final episode to lead to the pay-per-view this Saturday. Dijak-Kross was a good match and played out as you would expect. The Templario three-way was fun lucha action. No complaints. They’ve done a good job of mixing in the four-month-old footage with the video packages for the pay-per-view.
