Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (Episode 37)
Taped on October 3, 2026, in Leon, Mexico, at Domo de la Feria
Streamed October 10, 2026, on Fox in Latin America and on the WWE YouTube Channel
Corey Graves and JBL again provided commentary. I unfortunately didn’t watch this live, which meant I had to suffer through the YouTube commercial breaks every 2.5 minutes. This product is borderline unwatchable with all these breaks.
* Like most episodes, it opened with a video package of past weeks’ highlights, and we saw wrestlers arriving at the building.
1. “Los Americanos” Bravo and Rayo vs. “The Tokyo Bad Boys” Kento and Takuma. Rayo opened with dark-haired Takuma. Brown-haired Kento locked up with Bravo. Bravo hit some jab punches; the crowd was fully behind Los Americanos. Bravo forced Kento to dance. Bravo hit a flip dive through the ropes at 2:00. Back in the ring, Takuma worked over Bravo and kept him grounded. Rayo entered, and he hit a buzzsaw kick on Takuma. He slammed Kento onto Takuma and got a nearfall at 4:30.
Rey Mysterio showed up in the booth! JBL made fun of him for being late. Bravo was swinging one guy while he had another across his shoulders! Bravo hit a top-rope flying headbutt, so Rayo also hit one for a nearfall at 6:00. Takuma hit a tornado DDT. Kento hit a dive to the floor. Takuma hit a springboard moonsault to the floor! In the ring, Takuma hit a springboard 450 Splash for a nearfall.
Takuma and Bravo got up and traded punches. Kento and Rayo also brawled. Takuma hit a Shooting Star Splash on Bravo for a believable nearfall at 8:00. The Tokyo Bad Boys accidentally kicked each other. Bravo hit a clothesline on Kento. Bravo hit a grazing Frankensteiner. Kento also hit one, but he missed a 450 Splash. Bravo hit a flying headbutt to pin Takuma. Good action. (But yes, I had three separate commercial breaks in that match.)
“Los Americanos” Bravo and Rayo defeated “The Tokyo Bad Boys” Kento and Takuma at 10:19.
* Footage aired of Pagano turning on Psycho Clown at Triplemania.
* El Carnicero and Pagano came to the ring. Pagano got on the mic and admitted he was the one attacking the clowns in recent months! (He spoke in Spanish, but because this episode wasn’t live, we had English subtitles.) Pagano slapped El Carnicero to fire him up. He complained about being tired of being Psycho Clown’s lackey. He finally feels like Pagano again! Dave the Clown and Murder Clown came down to confront them, but El Carnicero beat them up. Psycho Clown finally came out, and he brawled with Pagano, as they fought up the aisle to the back. Pagano kept beating up the other clowns at ringside.
* Footage aired of Mini Vikingo and Chazz “Starboy” Hall winning their match in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
2. Mini Vikingo vs. Jack Cartwheel vs. Joaquin Wilde vs. Nobu San in a four-way to become No. 1 contender to the AAA Cruiserweight Championship. All four brawled at the bell. MV and Jack traded quick reversals. Jack hit his rolling cartwheel DVD and got a nearfall at 1:30. Nobu (a third member of the Tokyo Bad Boys) jumped in and fought Mini Vikingo. Wilde kept putting hairspray on. Mini Vikingo dove between Wilde’s legs, through the ropes, and barreled onto guys on the floor. Wilde hit a flip dive to the floor onto everyone at 3:00. In the ring, Wilde worked over Mini Vikingo.
Nobu helped Wilde, and they worked over Mini Vikingo. Jack got back in and brawled with the heels. Nobu hit a German Suplex and a dropkick on Jack. MV hit a missile dropkick on Nobu. MV hit a DDT on Wilde, then a Michinok Driver on Nobu for a nearfall at 5:30. Jack got in and hit his leaping Crucifix Driver, but he missed a top-rope Phoenix Splash, and suddenly everyone was down. Nobu San jumped on Wilde’s back as Joaquin was bent over, and he hit a superplex on Jack for a nearfall at 7:30. Wilde hit a tornado DDT on Mini Vikingo, then a flying Poison Rana on Cartwheel.
Wilde got a cool double rollup for nearfalls. Jack hit a double Pele Kick in the corner at 9:00, then a Sasuke Special dive to the floor on Nobu! In the ring, he hit the Jack’s Arrow (Phoenix Splash) on Wilde for a believable nearfall, but MV made the save! MV and Jack traded forearm strikes. Jack hit a German Suplex, but MV rotated and landed on his feet. MV hit his own Crucifix Driver. MV hit a mid-ring Spanish Fly on Nobu for a nearfall at 11:00, then a twisting dive to the floor. In the ring, MV hit a 630 Splash on Nobu San for the pin. A sprint of a match, but I never once thought anyone other than Mini Vikingo was winning here.
Mini Vikingo defeated Jack Cartwheel, Joaquin Wilde, and Nobu San at 11:25 to become the No. 1 contender to Rey Fenix’s AAA Cruiserweight Championship.
Final Thoughts: Both matches were fine, and the Pagano segment worked, too, but there sure is a lot of filler between the matches. Am I the only one who vents about the YouTube commercial breaks coming so rapid-fire? Nothing else I watch on YouTube has breaks this frequent.
La Catalina will be back next week, and Taurus will be in action.
