WWE tryout camp includes NFL star’s cousin, former TNA wrestler, former NFL players, independent wrestlers

WWE announced the names of several attendees of this week’s tryout camp at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

-Terron Beckham: The 24 year-old cousin of New York Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. He became an internet sensation for his workouts. Five NFL teams attended his Pro Day workout even though he never played college football. He wrote on Twitter on Thursday that his first day at the tryouts went “great” and that he had two more days left to “own it.”

-Seini Draughn: The 34 year-old wrestled as Lei’D Tapa in TNA and on the independent scene. She is the niece of The Barbarian.

-Lance Anoa’i: The 24 year-old son of Headshrinker Samu, and the grandson of Afa the Wild Samoan. He worked a squash match on Smackdown in 2015, and he also appeared last November as a security guard on Raw.

-Isaiah Stanback: A 32 year-old former NFL wide receiver and tight end who was on the New York Giants practice squad when the team won the Super Bowl in 2012.

Powell’s POV: The WWE.com story notes that there were a total of six former NFL players who took part in the tryout. Other names mentioned in the story include heavyweight wrestler Eduard Soghomonyan, kickboxer Katsiaryna “Katya” Kavaleva, Spencer Charette (wrestles as “Wrecking Ball” Legursky), Lakeem Bradberry, Lindsay Duncan (wrestles as Nicole Matthews). It also mentions that prospects from Booker T’s promotion and the Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley owned Team 3D Academy took part in the tryouts.
