MLW Fusion (Episode 207 – “Blood and Thunder”)
Taped April 12, 2026, in Charleston, South Carolina, at Festival Hall

This is the third episode from this taping. The floor looks packed. There were at least 500 here, and the lighting is really good. Joe Dombrowski and Tom Lawlor were on commentary.
* I noted this last week, but from a production standpoint, I don’t think MLW has ever looked better.
1. Shotzi Blackheart vs. Scarlett Bordeaux vs. Lady Frost in three-way non-title match. Shotzi and Frost shoved Scarlett aside so they could argue, so Scarlett rolled up Frost. Shotzi tossed Scarlett to the floor. Shotzi and Frost traded forearm strikes. Shotzi hit a second-rope missile dropkick at 2:00, then her 619 by the ring post, then a top-rope crossbody block on Frost for a nearfall. Frost hit some hard chops. Scarlett hit a German Suplex. She hit a buttbump in the corner on Shotzi, and rubbed her rear in Shotzi’s face. Frost hit a cannonball onto both opponents in the corner at 3:30 [C].
Back from the commercial, Frost had her foot planted in Scarlett’s throat. She hit a flying headbutt to Scarlett’s stomach and hit a release fisherman’s suplex, then some chops. Shotzi got back in and hit a double dropkick at 5:30. she hit some quick kicks on Frost, then a Saito Suplex for a nearfall. Scarlett hit a pumphandle back suplex on Shotzi for a nearfall. All three were down, so they got up and traded forearm strikes. Shotzi dove through the ropes and crashed onto both opponents at 7:00. She threw Scarlett back into the ring. Frost hit a top-rope Spiral Tap splash onto Scarlett for the pin; Dombrowski called it “The Frost Bite.”
Lady Frost defeated Scarlett Bordeaux and Shotzi Blackheart at 7:39.
* We once again had a vignette for teenage star Corinne Joy. She’s coming soon!
* A short vignette aired for HATE, a women’s heel faction in Japan.
* Video aired of last week, showing the return of Josef Samael to lead the Contra Unit. The footage included Big Damo‘s first match in MLW.
2. Alan Angels vs. Joe Coffey (w/The Glasgow Boys). Joe is completely clean-shaven and looks so much younger for it! He charged and struck Alan at the bell! He hit a backbreaker over his knee and got a nearfall just 20 seconds in! Coffey tied up the right arm on the mat. Alan landed a superkick at 1:30, then a huracanrana. He hit a corner moonsault to the floor. He threw Coffey back into the ring. The Glasgow Boys hopped on the apron to intimidate Alan. Alan got a rollup for a nearfall. Coffey did a Castagnoli-style Giant Swing at 3:00. He hit a top-rope crossbody block and a shotgun dropkick, then a discus clothesline for the pin.
Joe Coffey defeated Alan Angels at 3:35.
* Rich Bocchini tried to interview the Glasgow Boys and asked them if they were behind the sneak attack on Trevor Lee. Joe Coffey admitted it! He also admitted he beat up Teddy Long! This brought out LaBron Kozone, who vowed to beat up whoever attacked Teddy. Security guards kept them apart.
* Another vignette for the 400-pounder Jumbo aired. Next week, we’ll have the Skyscrapers vs. The Good Brothers, plus Joe Coffey vs. LaBron Kozone.
* We had the ‘tale of the tape’ for the main event.
3. Killer Kross vs. Satoshi Kojima for the MLW World Title. A feeling-out process early on, as they cautiously locked up. Kross mounted him and hit some punches. Kojima hit his rapid-fire chops in the corner at 4:00, then a running forearm and a second-rope diving elbow drop for a nearfall. Kross hit an Exploder Suplex for a nearfall. Kross hit a stunner for a nearfall at 6:30. Kross hit a hard clothesline for a nearfall. Kojima hit a hard clothesline and got a nearfall. Kross hit a Saito Suplex for a nearfall at 8:00. He applied the Kross Jacket (rear-naked choke on the mat). The ref checked Kojima; he held on for a few seconds but eventually tapped out.
Killer Kross defeated Satoshi Kojima to retain the MLW World Title at 8:48.
* Kross was about to say something on the mic. However, Matt Riddle appeared at ringside, and we heard some light boos. Kross told Kojima it was an honor to share the ring with him. They shook hands and bowed. Riddle once again told Kross, “You owe me.” Matt turned and left!
Final Thoughts: That episode flew by. I enjoyed the women’s match. This is a good use for veteran Kojima at this point, passing the torch and putting over guys younger than him. I’ll reiterate that signing new young talent like Corinne Joy is far better than investing in yet another WWE castoff. Nothing must-see here, but this worked for me. A fairly short episode, clocking in at 44 minutes.
