[Hour One] Michael Cole narrated arrival/backstage shots of Dominik Mysterio with Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, Bayley with Lyra Valyria, World Tag Team Champions Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso, Je’Von Evans with IShowSpeed… A video package recapped last week’s Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar angle… Corey Graves joined Cole on commentary…
Powell’s POV: Just a warning that I may miss a few things tonight. For some reason, Netflix doesn’t have fast-forward or rewind options available tonight, so I forgive me if I miss a few things along the way. Cole said there were over 13,000 in attendance. An hour before the show, WrestleTix listed the venue as being set up for 13,136 with 12,583 tickets distributed. The listed capacity is 19,580.
Brock Lesnar made his entrance with Paul Heyman. Ring announcer Alicia Taylor introduced Lesnar, who wore a new “FAF5” t-shirt. Heyman told the fans that they were pissing off Lesnar. Heyman recalled Lesnar roughing up all of Seth Rollins’ mystery masked men last week. He claimed that Oba Femi is overhyped by WWE, and accused him of taking advantage of Lesnar after he’d fought so many masked men.
Oba Femi made his entrance after Heyman wrapped up his promo. There were loud “Oba” chants, and the cameras cut to children and adults emulating Oba’s strut. Lesnar laughed when Oba made it to the apron and then got serious once he was inside the ring.
Lesnar kicked Oba and powered him up for an F5, but Oba slipped away and clotheslined Lesnar over the top rope to the floor. Lesnar sat next to the barricade and looked up with disbelief. Lesnar got to his feet and said, “You ain’t that lucky, boy.” Lesnar stared at Oba and then headed to the back with Heyman…
Powell’s POV: I like that they doubled down on Oba getting the better of Lesnar. I’m sure they’ll put some heat on Lesnar now that they’ve established that last week’s dominance was not a fluke.
A Dominik Mysterio promo video aired, and then Graves hyped his rematch with Penta for the Intercontinental Title for later in the show…
World Tag Team Champions Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso made their entrance through the crowd before the first commercial break… [C] Cole plugged the “Kill Tony” show for WrestleMania weekend…
Logan Paul and Austin Theory made their entrance… Footage aired of Logan Paul sacking Eagles’ quarterback Jalen Hurts during a flag football game, and of Tom Brady throwing a football at Logan…
1. Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso vs. Logan Paul and Austin Theory for the World Tag Team Titles. Logan clotheslined one of the champions into the timekeeper’s area before they went to a break less than two minutes into the match. [C]
Cole issued his condolences to the friends and family of the late Dennis Condrey. Jey speared Theory and went up top, but Logan crotched him. Jimmy ran over, but Logan ran him into the ring post. Logan pulled out brass knuckles while the referee was focused on Jey.
LA Knight’s entrance music played. Knight ran Logan into the ring steps and tossed his brass knuckles to Jey, who hit Theory for the DQ.
Logan Paul and Austin Theory beat World Tag Team Champions Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso by DQ in 7:30.
After the match, Jey wore the brass knuckles while punching Logan…
Powell’s POV: Meh. I get the idea of not delivering a clean finish if they intend to feature this matchup at WrestleMania, but it’s not like that finish left me anxious to see them run it back.
A video package recapped the recent promo exchanges between CM Punk and Roman Reigns, including Punk punching out Reigns for calling him old at the end of last week’s show… Graves hyped that Punk and Reigns were both in the building…
Becky Lynch was shown walking backstage while Cole said she would appear after the break… [C] Cole plugged WWE World tickets for WrestleMania weekend…
Becky Lynch made her entrance. Lynch stopped and looked at a young fan who held up a sign along the entrance aisle. Lynch showed no expression while looking at the girl and then resumed her walk to the ring.
Lynch took issue with the fans booing her, yet cheering for someone who had been away for ten years. Lynch recalled coming back after a break of her own and winning the Women’s Intercontinental Title. She said she’s damn proud of that title, what it represents, and how she made it. Lynch said she has to watch AJ Lee prance around like she earned the title.
Lynch said she tried to take a break with the people she loved, but she saw her daughter skipping around to Lee’s entrance theme. Lynch boasted that she “murdered” the Divas Era.
Women’s Intercontinental Champion AJ Lee came out. Rather than skip, Lee ran to the ring, causing Lynch to exit the other side. Lynch hopped the barricade and mockingly skipped away. Lee climbed onto the broadcast table with a microphone.
Lee said she’s dominated Lynch whenever they’ve been in the ring. Lee said she’s your favorite wrestler’s favorite wrestler, and apparently Lynch’s daughter’s favorite wrestler. Lee said she would give Lynch what she wants by facing her for the title again at WrestleMania.
Lynch said she remembered the last time Lee competed at WrestleMania, eleven years ago. Lynch said Lee skipped into the office, gave her notice, and didn’t hear from her for eleven years. Lynch said she would win at WrestleMania and we’d never hear from Lee again…
Backstage, LA Knight spoke with Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso. Jimmy said he appreciated the help. Jey told Knight there are consequences when people talk about his family. Knight said Jey sounded like Roman Reigns. Jey got upset and left. Jimmy kept his cool, but warned Knight that just like CM Punk was going to find out, he should watch his words when he speaks about his family…
Je’Von Evans was shown backstage while Cole hyped his match… [C]
Powell’s POV: Hey, the rewind/fast-forwarding is working. But now what will I blame when I inevitably miss things? The Lee and Lynch verbal segment was fine, but I’m surprised they didn’t announce a gimmick match or that this would be the final match between the two. Perhaps one or both of those things are still to come.
Derrick White and Joe Mazzulla of the Boston Celtics were shown in the crowd… Je’Von Evans made his entrance…
2. Je’Von Evans vs. Grayson Waller (w/Kofi Kingston). Waller’s entrance was not televised. Waller tossed Evans to the floor. Waller followed and slammed Evans’ head on the apron before tossing him back inside the ring. Waller complained to Kingston about helping out, and then Evans dove onto Waller. Evans hopped on the broadcast table and grabbed Graves’ headset before yelling, “Corey, we outside.”
[Hour Two] [C] Waller dominated Waller coming out of the break and picked up a near fall. Waller fired back with a punch. Evans returned the favor and then ducked Waller’s punches. Waller caught Evans with a knee strike and another punch. Evans executed a release German suplex.
Waller went for his rolling Flatliner, but Evans caught him with a knee strike. Evans went up top, but Waller cut him off and then used a unique move to spike his head on the mat. Waller ran Evans through the ropes and into the ring post casing. Waller sat on the ropes while setting up for a move, but Evans caught him with a kick. Evans joined Waller on the top rope. Waller pushed Evans to the mat, but he got right back up and pulled Waller down with a huracanrana. Evans hit the OG Cutter and got the clean pin.
Je’Von Evans beat Grayson Waller in 9:00.
After the match, Kingston could be heard telling Waller that he would have rather had him win…
Powell’s POV: An enjoyable television match. Waller took the loss, but he was more aggressive with his offense than usual. It’s good to see Waller back in the ring rather than spinning his wheels as the nearly forgotten sidekick of Kingston and Xavier Woods.
Backstage, Paul Heyman told Raw General Manager Adam Pearce that he wanted him to schedule The Usos vs. The Vision in a street fight for the World Tag Team Titles for next week’s Raw at Madison Square Garden. Pearce said Heyman gave him something to consider.
Heyman indicated he was leaving, but Pearce asked him where he was going and reminded him that he had asked for time to address the Seth Rollins’ situation. Heyman said he’s sick of Pearce, Rollins, and “everyone around here,” but he indicated that he was heading to the ring. Pearce said he wouldn’t miss Heyman at all… [C]
Paul Heyman stood in the ring and leaned against the ropes closest to the hard camera. Heyman told the crowd that he was having a really bad night and not just because he had to appear in Boston.
Heyman said he was having a bad night because there was no one left for him to hide behind. Heyman said Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed won’t be back anytime soon from their injuries, Brock Lesnar got pissed and left the building, and Logan Paul and Austin Theory were semi-conscious following their match earlier.
Heyman called Seth Rollins his stalker. Heyman said WWE isn’t big enough for the two of them. Heyman said that wasn’t a challenge for a WrestleMania match or tonight because he wouldn’t stand a chance. Heyman asked what choice he had left. He said maybe it was time that Rollins came out and put him out of his misery.
A masked man was shown in the crowd. Heyman conceded that he was afraid, but he said sometimes a man has to do what a man has to do. The masked man climbed onto the broadcast table and revealed himself to be Seth Rollins. Four police officers immediately showed up while Heyman smiled.
Heyman recalled saying he would settle it like a man. Heyman said the men in his family are snitches. The cops led Rollins toward the back while Heyman ran his mouth about how Rollins would go to jail and his wife would end up with half the locker room. Heyman said he would take care of their daughter.
Rollins ran to the ring, where Heyman threw the microphone at him. Rollins dropped Heyman with a punch. Adam Pearce came out. The cops handcuffed Rollins and then escorted him to the back while Pearce walked behind them. Heyman sat in a corner of the ring and sold the punch while laughing… [C]
Powell’s POV: It seems like Heyman and Rollins are trying to keep things interesting until Bron Breakker returns. I’m surprised that Rollins hit Heyman again. I thought Heyman filled his bump quota for 2026 when Rollins attacked him a few weeks ago. Oh, and the antibiotics or whatever Heyman used to help his eye heal since last week were effective.
Cole explained that Rollins violated a restraining order that Heyman had filed against him…
The Kabuki Warriors were in the ring, and then the entrances for Bayley and Lyra Valkyria took place…
3. “The Kabuki Warriors” Asuka and Kairi Sane vs. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. Cole said this was the second time the teams met in a tag team match. Asuka hit Bayley with a knee strike, and Sane dropped Valkyria with a back fist on the floor. Back in the ring, Asuka and Sane performed a series of moves on Bayley. [C]
Cole listed the attendance as 13,340. Bayley performed a Bayley To Belly that left Asuka on the broadcast table. Bayley went for an elbow drop from the barricade that Asuka avoided, causing Bayley to crash onto the broadcast table. Valkyria kicked Asuka and Sane through the ropes. Valkyria got Sane in the ring and hit her with Night Wing before getting the three count.
Bayley and Lyra Valkyria beat “The Kabuki Warriors” Asuka and Kairi Sane in 9:55.
After the match, Jackie Redmond entered the ring to interview Bayley and Valkyria. Bayley mentioned they will be in the most famous arena in the world next week, which drew boos from the Boston crowd. Bayley brought up beating Nia Jax and Lash Legend, which the fans cheered…

Backstage, Penta taught YouTube personality IShowSpeed how to do his dance. Dragon Lee entered the room. Speed asked if he was a dragon. Lee said he was. “I’m a dog,” Speed replied before barking and leaving. Lee spoke to Penta in Spanish. Penta responded that he would give him a rematch whenever he wants it. Cole hyped Penta vs. Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Title… [C]
Adam Pearce was talking with IShowSpeed backstage when Danhausen popped up. Danhausen thought IShowSpeed had 180 followers on YouTube. IShowSpeed told him he has 180 million subscribers. Danhausen wanted to partner with him and requested his password, but Speed declined. Danhausen cursed Speed, who then complained about Pearce about it…
Powell’s POV: The live crowd said “You are cursed” loudly along with Danhausen. It’s fun to see Danhausen get over quickly despite being put in a position to disappoint when he debuted at Elimination Chamber.
A video package recapped Randy Orton’s latest Smackdown segments… The broadcast team hyped Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. Cole also hyped that Cody Rhodes will speak for the first time since being attacked by Orton when he appears on The Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday at 12:05CT/1:05ET…
Backstage, Asuka scolded a sheepish Kairi Sane by saying she was responsible for their loss. After Asuka walked away, Iyo Sky showed up and told Sane that she deserved better treatment. Asuka yelled for Sane, who walked away from Sky. Raquel Rodriguez showed up and set up a match with Sky for next week’s Raw…
Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan started to make their entrance when Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer ran out and attacked Morgan from behind. Dom tried to pull Vaquer away from Morgan, but Vaquer got up and punched him. Two referees ran out and grabbed Vaquer, but Morgan recovered and attacked her. Morgan took Vaquer backstage, where they fought… [C]
JD McDonagh was at ringside with Dom, while Penta made his entrance. Penta stood in front of a pyro stand, and then pyro shot off while Penta looked into the camera…
4. Penta vs. Dominik Mysterio (w/JD McDonagh) for the Intercontinental Title. Alicia Taylor was going to deliver in-ring introductions, but Dom hit Penta. Referee Eddie Orengo separated the wrestlers and checked on Penta before calling for the opening bell. Cole recalled that Dom lost the Intercontinental Title to John Cena the last time he wrestled in Boston.
Dom dropkicked Pena, who rolled to the floor. Dom performed a suicide dive that he turned into a DDT. Dom grabbed for his knee, which bent awkwardly while performing the DDT, before a break. [C]
[Hour Three] Penta hit Dom with a Penta Driver for a near fall. Penta charged Dom, who put him down with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall of his own. Dom set up for a 619, but Penta stood up and superkicked him. Penta chased McDonagh off the apron. Dom took advantage of the distraction and hit Penta with a 619. Dom went up top for his finisher.
Finn Balor’s entrance theme played, and he walked onto the stage. McDonagh ran to the stage, but Balor made quick work of him. In the ring, Dom went for the frog splash, but Penta put his knees up and hooked him into a pin…
Penta defeated Dominik Mysterio in 7:50 to retain the Intercontinental Title.
After the match, Balor entered the ring and hit Dom with a sling blade clothesline and a shotgun dropkick. Balor wanted to go for his finisher, but McDonagh pulled Dom out of the ring. Balor hit Dom and McDonagh with a flip dive. Dom escaped through the crowd while Balor put McDonagh down. Balor smiled at Dom and then hit McDonagh with a shotgun dropkick and the Coup de Grace. Balor went to the ropes and looked at Dom while saying, “You and me,” but Dom didn’t respond…
Powell’s POV: Dom seemed fine despite the awkward way his knee bent before the break. The finish was underwhelming, but I figured this would be more about setting up whatever they are doing with Dom and Balor at WrestleMania.
The broadcast team recapped Oba Femi getting the better of Brock Lesnar earlier in the show…

World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk approached Jimmy Uso while they were both on the Gorilla Position set. Jimmy said he wasn’t trying to tell Punk what to do, but he said he’d be careful if he were him because Jey Uso is on the warpath. Punk’s music hit, and he thanked Big Jim with a smile, which got a smile back from Jimmy. Punk made his entrance dressed in a white hoodie and jeans. [C]
So once again Brock’s segment kicks off the show.He must wanna get the heck out of there instead of waiting around.
Looks like Danhausen’s curse hit Waller instead of Kingston.
