WWE Performance Center head coach/trainer Matt Bloom discussed the Bullet Club in an interview with the WWE website. The following are among the highlights of the interview, which can be read in full at WWE.com.
Bloom on Finn Balor being laughed at when he came up with the concept: “I’m friends with most of those guys. The Bullet Club came to fruition after I left. It’s something that Finn Bálor came up with one night while hanging with his buddies. They all kind of made fun of him about it, thinking it would never take off.”
Bloom also spoke about the group’s popularity: “That’s a faction that really helped New Japan become global, because everywhere you look, there are Bullet Club shirts at U.S. sporting events and U.S. wrestling events. It just took off. It’s all the brainchild of Finn Bálor and Karl Anderson.”
Powell’s POV: WWE wisely continues to get whatever they can out of the buzz created regarding their negotiations with AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, Doc Gallows, and Shinsuke Nakamura. Bloom also spoke about how he feels about some of the Bullet Club members potentially coming to WWE and how it affects Finn Balor.
