Baby Rusev Day is coming soon. Former WWE and AEW manager CJ Perry and WWE wrestler Rusev (Miro Barnyashev) announced that they are expecting a baby boy on April 28, 2027. “We started IVF in 2025, and on August 10, 2026, we had our embryo transfer,” Perry told People. “We were so nervous. We had to wait nine days for our first pregnancy test on August 19, followed by another on August 21 to confirm the pregnancy.”
Rusev has already picked out a name and a career for his son. “Ten years ago, I had a vision of naming our son Bear, and we chose his middle name to honor my father,” he said. “Bear will be his first grandson… I’m excited for his future at Real Madrid! We have plans to move to Spain to enroll him in the Real Madrid Football Academy!” Check out the full story at People.com
Powell’s POV: Congratulations to the happy couple. If the boy ends up built like his father, they may want to consider pointing him towards a career in American football, rugby, or even in that crazy pro wrestling business.
