Greektown Pro Wrestling
October 23, 2026, in Toronto, Ontario, at 310 Danforth Ave.
Streamed on TrillerTV+

This is their usual venue, which is a small gym. The ring was lit okay, and the crowd was maybe 400 to 500. Nug Nahrgang and Joe Dombroski provided commentary, and they noted how packed it was tonight.

1. Vaughn Vertigo vs. Junior Benito vs. Zach Nystrom vs. Brent Banks vs. Jimmy Lloyd. All five brawled at the bell. Banks hit a flying elbow. Jimmy hit a running neckbreaker on Banks. Benito jumped in and battled Jimmy, hitting a slingshot senton at 1:30. Vertigo hit a half-nelson suplex on Junior. Vertigo tied Benito in the Paradise Lock and swatted Junior on his butt. “That’s infringement!” Dombrowski said. Benito flipped Vertigo into the corner, landed a quick swat to the rear, then hit a Finlay Roll and a Vader Bomb for a nearfall at 4:00.

There was a Tower of Doom spot from the corner. Banks hit a frog splash on Jimmy. Vaughn tried to steal the pin on Jimmy. Banks dove over the ropes onto several guys on the floor. Benito hit a flip dive over the ring post onto everyone at 5:30! This has been a high-energy opener. In the ring, he hit a frog splash on Jimmy for a nearfall, but Nystrom made the save. Nystrom (wearing his Pittsburgh black-and-yellow trunks) hit a Jackhammer on Benito! Junio hit an enzuigiri on Lloyd. However, Jimmy scooped up Junior and hit a piledriver for the pin! A minor upset; really good action.

Jimmy Lloyd defeated Zach Nystrom, Junior Benito, Brent Banks, and Vaughn Vertigo at 6:5

2. Isaiah Broner vs. Cokane. Of course, Cokane is a spoof of Kane, wearing a white shirt and white-and-black mask. He’s been a regular in Juggalo Championship Wrestling. He’s white and pretty scrawny; Broner has a big advantage in muscle mass. Cokane put some mysterious, white, unknown powder on his forearm, and he offered some of it to Broner. However, Isaiah pushed Cokane’s arm away, and the powder flew everywhere. We got the bell, and Cokane hit some punches. Broner hit a Buckle Bomb and was in charge.

Cokane hit a Lethal Injection for a nearfall at 4:30. He pulled out a second baggie of powder, and he dumped it over his head. This mysterious white powder, whatever it is, sure fired him up! The crowd cheered. However, Broner hit a powerbomb for a nearfall. Cokane hit a chokeslam for the pin! More drug-related silliness than action, really.

Cokane defeated Isaiah Broner at 5:55.

3. Seleziya Sparx vs. Jody Threat. An aggressive lockup, and they bounced against the ropes with neither woman getting an advantage. Jody tied up the left arm and pushed Sparx to the mat. They got up and traded punches. Nug said this looked like “a hockey fight.” Sparx mounted her and hit repeated punches. Jody hit a stiff kick to the spine and got a nearfall at 4:00. Jody rolled to the floor and consumed some beer to fire herself up. Joe Dombrowski made a “Popeye and spinach” reference. The wrestlers fought at ringside.

Sparx tied Jody’s arm around the guardrail. They got back into the ring at 6:00. Sparx rammed Jody’s head into her butt, then hit a satellite headscissors takedown. Sparx hit a Samoan Drop, mounted her again, and hit more punches. Sparx went for a cross-armbreaker, but Jody rolled her up for a nearfall at 7:30. Sparx shoved her shoulder-first into the corner. She hit some buttbumps in the corner; Dombrowski said those were more “insult than injury.” Jody hit a stunner on the ring apron! They both rolled into the ring but were down.

They got on their knees and traded slaps. They got up and traded more forearm strikes! Jody hit some clotheslines and was fired up. She hit a running boot to the side of the head at 10:00, then running double knees to the back as Seleziya was in the ropes. Jody hit some buttbumps to Seleziya’s face, and the crowd cheered that. Sparx hit a spinebuster for a nearfall. Sparx set up for a delayed vertical suplex, but Jody escaped, and she then set up for her own delayed vertical suplex. Sparx hit an Air Raid Crash for the pin. That exceeded my expectations; that was a really strong match.

Seleziya Sparx defeated Jody Threat at 12:46.

4. Devious Cass and Don Freeze vs. Spencer Slade and Trent Gibson. Again, Slade wears the amateur wrestling headgear, like Josh Alexander, and he has a tremendous physique. Gibson cut a heel promo and was booed. The heels attacked, and we’re underway! Cass, the talented teen from Philadelphia, hit a springboard crossbody block and a dropkick. Freeze entered at 1:00 and squared off with Gibson. (I didn’t realize how short Don is!) Don hit an enzuigiri, then a handspring-back-elbow. Again, he’s pretty rotund, and the crowd always pops at his agility for his size.

Slade got back in and twisted Don’s left arm. Cass hit a Blue Thunder Bomb on Slade for a nearfall at 3:00. Gibson reached in and grabbed Cass’s ankle, allowing Slade to hit a German Suplex and take control. Slade hit a snap suplex on Cass. The heels both planted their feet in Cass’s throat. Gibson choked Cass in the ropes. Cass finally hit a double missile dropkick at 7:00. Freeze got the hot tag, and he hit some punches on both opponents. He hit an enzuigiri.

Don and Cass hit a team X-Factor move. Cass nailed a flip dive to the floor! He threw Slade back into the ring. Freeze missed a corkscrew moonsault. Cass went for a springboard move, but Slade caught him with a jumping knee. Slade hit an Air Raid Crash. Gibson tagged in and covered the prone Cass for the pin. The crowd loudly booed that, as Slade did all the work but Gibson got the pin.

Spencer Slade and Trent Gibson defeated Devious Cass and Don Freeze at 9:0

5. “The Production” Derek Dillinger and Katie Arquette vs. Sonny Kiss and Salsa King. No interest in this one, so I skipped to the end. I’ve noted before that Salsa King reminds me a lot of Angel Garza, and he dances his way to the ring. Kiss hit a spin kick to Arquette’s jaw for the pin.

Sonny Kiss and Salsa King defeated Derek Dillinger and Katie Arquette at 17:09.

* Intermission went 30 minutes. That’s just too long.

6. Jeffrey John, Sam Holloway, and Wes Barkley vs. Puf, Luigi Primo, and Jermaine Marbury (w/Benny the Basketball). Barkley’s heel trio are all regulars in Cleveland-based AIW. The babyface trio is all comedy wrestlers, so you know what you’re getting here. Primo is an amazing juggler but not much of a wrestler. John and Marbury opened, with Jermaine ‘dribbling’ John’s head. Holloway (who is about 6’8″) got in at 2:00 to square off with Puf, and he made fun of Puf being shorter. Puf swatted Holloway with his sandal, and he bit Sam’s fingers. Puf struck Sam with an empty pizza box that couldn’t possibly hurt at all.

Holloway got his arms around the 400+ pounder, but he couldn’t budge Puf. Barkley got in at 4:00, so Primo got in, still spinning his pizza crust. Barkley tied up Primo’s ankle. The heels worked over Jermaine in their corner. Holloway planted his foot in Jermaine’s throat at 9:30. Puf and Primo got in and all six brawled. They low-bridged the top rope, and Sam fell to the floor. Jermaine dove onto Holloway at 12:00. They all fought on the floor.

In the ring, Sam hit a chokeslam on Puf. Marbury ‘broke Sam’s ankles’ and hit a stunner. Jeffrey tried to lift Puf from his knees. Barkley punched Puf with brass knuckles. He tried to punch Primo, but Primo blocked it. Primo whipped the pizza crust at Barkley, who sold it like he was shot, going straight down. Primo covered Wes for the pin. Eye-rolling dumb at times, but the crowd was thoroughly sports-entertained.

Puf, Jermaine Marbury, and Luigi Primo defeated Jeffrey John, Sam Holloway, and Wes Barkley at 16:35.

7. Bill Collier (w/Spencer Slade, Trent Gibson) vs. El Phantasmo. We haven’t seen ELP in New Japan in months, and my guess is he’s done there. We got the bell, but Collier rejected a handshake. They finally locked up at 1:00, but the taller Collier easily shoved ELP to the mat. They traded forearm strikes, and Bill again dropped Phantasmo. Collier hit an impressive Gorilla Press at 3:00, tossing ELP to the mat, with Phantasmo rolling to the floor. In the ring, ELP stomped on Bill’s fingers. He walked the top rope while twisting Bill’s right arm. However, Collier dropped him throat-first across the top rope at 6:00.

They brawled on the floor and looped the ring. Slade and Gibson hit some stomps on ELP while Collier distracted the referee. In the ring, Collier hit a delayed vertical suplex at 7:30 and a leaping guillotine leg drop for a nearfall. He hit a hard clothesline for another nearfall. The heels again choked ELP while the ref was distracted. Collier slammed Phantasmo’s head onto the top turnbuckles. ELP fired up and the traded forearm strikes. ELP hit a flying forearm at 10:00, and they were both down.

ELP hit a tornado DDT at 11:30, then an impressive top-rope moonsault to the floor! In the ring, ELP superkicked Slade, who had hopped on the ring apron. Collier hit a swinging Flatliner for a believable nearfall at 13:30. ELP hit a superkick, and he avoided a chokeslam. Collier hit a headbutt and the chokeslam for a believable nearfall; I thought that was it! ELP put Collier on his shoulders and did an Airplane Spin-into-a-powerbomb. He hit the CR2 (modified Styles Clash) for a nearfall at 17:00.

El Phantasmo hit the Thunderkiss 86 (frog splash) for a visual pin, but the ref was pulled to the floor! Gibson and Slade jumped in the ring and stomped on Phantasmo. Collier hit a spear as the heels held ELP in place. Slade rolled the ref into the ring, but ELP kicked out at the two-count at 18:30! Collier accidentally kicked Slade! ELP pushed Collier into Gibson, then rolled up Bill, flipped his body over for added leverage, and scored the flash pin! Good action.

El Phantasmo defeated Bill Collier at 18:52.

8. Marcus Mathers, Aaron Rourke, and B3cca vs. Sloane Jacobs, Joey Janela, and Channing Decker. B3cca came out by herself so she could sing “Hot Bod.” She wore the sailor outfit she donned in Dreamwave a week earlier. I’ve noted this before, but Channing Decker always makes me think of former PWG wrestler Joey Ryan. Janela and B3cca opened, and Joey got some quick rollups. B3cca hit a springboard crossbody block at 1:30. Channing tagged in and hit a hip-toss on B3cca, and he celebrated. Mathers tagged in and locked up with Decker at 3:00.

Marcus hit a dropkick, and he was fired up! He hit a spear into the corner. Rourke entered for the first time, so Sloane Jacobs got in, and they traded slaps to the face! Joey and Channing hit stereo superkicks on Rourke. Sloane backed Rourke into a corner and hit repeated punches to his forehead. Decker and Janela hit a team suplex on Aaron for a nearfall at 7:30. Rourke hit a Lungblower. Mathers got the hot tag, and he threw Janela to the floor. (I still am not 100% confident which team are the babyfaces!)

Sloane got a hot tag, and she hit some forearm strikes on Mathers. Rourke, from the apron, yanked Sloane’s hair, pulling her to the mat, and Mathers stomped on her. Mathers hit his mule kick to her chest. B3cca entered and hit a splits leg drop on Sloane and choked her in the ropes. (So… I guess they are the heels?) Aaron choked her in the ropes, too. B3cca hit a snap suplex for a nearfall at 11:00, and she hit a big boot to the side of Jacobs’ head and got a nearfall. Rourke and Jacobs traded strikes. B3cca hit a brainbuster. Rourke hit a Flatliner for a nearfall at 13:30.

B3cca again choked Sloane in the ropes and hit a basement dropkick for a nearfall. B3cca accidentally kicked Mathers! Sloane hit a DDT on Marcus, and she made the hot tag to Channing. Channing hit a series of kicks on all three heels, then a top-rope crossbody block. He hit a leg lariat on B3cca at 16:00. He slammed Mathers and got a nearfall. Channing hit a second-rope Spanish Fly on Marcus for a nearfall. Janela hit a Dragon Suplex on Mathers at 17:30. Decker hit a top-rope Blockbuster on Rourke. Mathers hit a decapitating clothesline on Decker, and suddenly everyone was down.

All six got up and traded punches. The women hit stereo Canadian Destroyers! Mathers hit a dive to the floor. Channing hit a flip dive to the floor at 19:30. Channing pulled a table out from under the ring, and he made a bridge between the ring and the guardrail. Everyone was brawling on the floor. B3cca went into the bleachers, and she dove onto everyone at 21:30! (The cameras really didn’t capture where she was, but we saw a replay that helped.)

In the ring, Mathers hit a corner fadeaway stunner on Janela. B3cca hit an Athena-style flying stunner on Joey for a nearfall. Joey hit a moonsault press on B3cca and Rourke, then a superplex on Mathers, and he hit a twisting suplex on Marcus into the corner at 23:00, and everyone was down again. The women got in and brawled. Sloane hit an X-Factor faceplant. B3cca hit a superkick; Sloane hit a superkick. They traded rollups. B3cca hit a rolling DVD for a nearfall at 24:30.

Sloane and Rourke fought on the ropes, and she hit a Samoan Drop to the mat! Decker hit a Michinoku Driver for a nearfall, and everyone was down again. Joey got a hot tag. B3cca tried a splash off the top rope onto Joey as he was lying on the table, but it didn’t break. Rourke tried a splash, but the table didn’t break! Mathers tried a top-rope double stomp to the chest, but the table still didn’t break! Funny. Rourke hit a flying senton to Joey’s chest, and it finally busted in half at 27:30. In the ring, Rourke hit the Molly-Go-Round on Janela. B3cca hit a 450 Splash. Mathers hit his awesome Shooting Star Press for a nearfall, but Sloane made the save!

Channing jumped in and hit some punches on Rourke and Mathers. However, B3cca hit a low-blow uppercut on Decker! She hit another one! The heels set up a table in the ring. Mathers and Decker fought on the ropes in the corner. Channing hit a leaping Michinoku Driver on Mathers, with them crashing onto the table below, for the pin. That was a lot of fun, and despite its length, the match never dragged.

Sloane Jacobs, Joey Janela, and Channing Decker defeated Marcus Mathers, Aaron Rourke, and B3cca at 30:20.

Final Thoughts: A really entertaining main event that just kept going and going. While I haven’t seen as much of Decker as the others, they are all really talented. Collier vs. ELP was really entertaining and earned second-best. In a surprise for third, Seleziya Sparx and Jody Threat had a real barnburner that topped my expectations, and that’s well worth checking out.

I watched the six-man tag because I am such a big fan of Sam Holloway; I admittedly don’t care much for the others in that match, particularly Primo. That said, the crowd was entertained by the antics and the comedy, and the pizza crust striking and knocking down Barkley ‘looked’ good.
