Blood Sweat Tears Wrestling “Sweet Surrender 2026”
August 16, 2026, in Hamden, Connecticut, at Devonshire Hall
Released October 14, 2026, via IndependentWrestling.TV

BST released their August and September shows simultaneously; I’ll get to the September show in the coming days.

This is a plain room with gray walls; they routinely run shows in this venue. The lights were on, and it’s easy to see. The crowd was only about 60 for the first two matches (clearly the pre-show) and suddenly jumped to perhaps 150 for the third match. ALSO, the first two matches didn’t have commentary, but the rest of the show did.

1. Amity LaVey (w/Sammi Chaos) vs. Nessa Ferrari. The scary Harley Quinn-esque Amity was hesitant to tie up at the bell. Nessa hit some hip-tosses and a Meteora at 1:30. Amity hit a guillotine leg drop for a nearfall. Nessa couldn’t hit a Crucifix Driver. Amity hit a swinging neckbreaker for a nearfall at 4:00, and she tied Nessa in a pretzel on the mat. Nessa fired up and hit some clotheslines. Nessa hit a top-rope crossbody block for a nearfall at 5:30. Sammi hopped on the ring apron and jawed at Nessa, and dropped her throat-first over the top rope! Amity immediately hit a Widow’s Peak neckbreaker for the pin.

Amity LaVey defeated Nessa Ferrari at 6:29.

2. Jay Kharma vs. Troy Tresdin. If I have seen either competitor before, it’s just once or twice. I see neither man has a cagematch.net bio yet. Kharma, a Black man carrying his phone on a ‘selfie stick,’ was booed. Tresdin’s overall look makes me think of Action Andretti. Basic action early on. Kharma hit a flying knee in the ropes at 2:30 and repeated knee strikes to Tesdin’s back. Troy hit some clotheslines and a Flatliner at 4:00. They traded forearm strikes. Tresdin hit a frog splash for a nearfall. Kharma hit a Pump Kick, but Tresdin hit a spear! Troy hit a short-arm clothesline for the pin. Okay.

Troy Tresdin defeated Jay Kharma at 6:05.

* Commentary kicked in here!

3. Titus Alexander vs. Dustin Waller. This is the match I really wanted to see! A clean lockup; they appear to be roughly the same height, but Titus might be a bit thicker and stronger. Titus twisted the left ankle and kept Waller grounded. They sped it up, traded quicker reversals, and had a standoff at 3:30. They went to the floor, where Waller hit some chops. Titus teased he was going to throw Dustin into the crowd, but instead pushed him face-first into the ring post at 6:00.

They got back into the ring with Titus in charge, and he hit a backbreaker over his knee for a nearfall. He hit a back suplex. Waller fired up and hit a flying shoulder tackle at 8:30. Dustin hit a springboard clothesline and a running Shooting Star Press for a nearfall. He went for a Lethal Injection, but Titus caught him and got a backslide for a nearfall. Titus nailed a backbreaker over his knee for a nearfall at 10:30. Titus hit a discus forearm. Waller hit a superkick, so Titus hit one. Waller hit a StunDog Millionaire. He again set up for a Lethal Injection, but Titus dropkicked him in the back, and they were both down at 12:30.

This has been as good as anticipated. They got up and traded forearm strikes and chops. Waller finally hit the Lethal Injection for a nearfall at 14:30! They fought on the second rope, and Waller knocked him to the mat. Titus hit a running knee to the sternum and a senton for a nearfall! Titus hit another suplex and a sit-out powerbomb for a nearfall at 16:00. Dustin hit a mid-ring Spanish Fly! Waller hit a plancha to the floor, then a springboard fadeaway stunner for a believable nearfall! Waller nailed a top-rope 450 Splash for the pin! Really good action.

Dustin Waller defeated Titus Alexander at 17:37.

4. Tina San Antonio vs. Vita VonStarr (w/Amity LaVey, Sammi Chaos) vs. Tiara James vs. Rachel Ley in a four-way. Tina really has a full cowgirl outfit tonight. All four brawled at the bell; all are roughly the same height and build. Tiara hit a running splash on Vita in the corner. Sammi beat up Ley on the floor! Tina and Tiara hit a team suplex on Vita at 1:30; of course, they both went for a cover and had issues over who would get the pin.

Tina whipped Vita into a corner, and the move knocked Rachel off the apron to the floor. Tiara and Tina again worked over Vita. Rachel got in and hit a shotgun dropkick on Vita, then a flipping guillotine leg drop for a nearfall at 4:00, then a twisting neckbreaker for a nearfall. Chaos hopped on the apron, and she argued with Ley. Vita grabbed Ley, rolled her up, and got the flash pin. Fine action but disappointingly short.

Vita VonStarr defeated Tina San Antonio, Tiara James, and Rachel Ley in a four-way at 4:51.

5. Daz Black vs. Michael Mistretta vs. Diego Alvarez vs. Devious Cass in a four-way. I don’t think I’ve seen Daz before, either. He’s a white guy with long straight hair and a thick beard, and I’ll compare him to Chicago indy standout Joe Alonzo. Diego jawed at each opponent at the bell, so they all beat him up, and Diego rolled to the floor to regroup. Diego and Daz hit stereo superkicks on Mistretta, sending him to the floor. Cass and Daz then traded some quick reversals. They both missed dropkicks and had a standoff at 1:30.

Diego hit a standing neckbreaker on Cass. He hit a dropkick on Mistretta. Daz dove through the ropes. Diego worked over Daz and choked him in the ropes. Cass hit a springboard twisting crossbody block on two guys at 4:30. Cass hit a Blue Thunder Bomb on Diego for a nearfall. Daz hit a leaping Flatliner for a nearfall. Diego hit a running knee to the side of Mistretta’s head at 6:30. Cass hit a DDT on Diego. He nailed a flip dive to the floor on all three guys! Cass immediately rolled Daz into the ring and hit a flying top stunner and got the pin!

Devious Cass defeated Daz Black, Michael Mistretta, and Diego Alvarez in a four-way at 7:29.

6. B3cca vs. Amira for the BST Monarch Title. International pop star sang “Hot Bod” on the way to the ring. Seriously, how many times have I seen her compete this year alone? The shorter Amira is visibly stronger; they tied up, and she threw B3cca to the mat. Amira hit a Northern Lights Suplex and some running knees into the corner, and B3cca rolled to the floor at 3:00 to regroup. B3cca snapped Amira’s arm over the top rope, and she repeatedly stomped on Amira in the corner. Amira got up and traded chops. B3cca stomped on her and regained control, but she missed an Irish Whip, and Amira got some rollups.

Amira nailed a rolling cannonball into the corner and got a nearfall at 6:00. B3cca hit a springboard crossbody block, and she switched to a cross-armbreaker. Amira nailed a brainbuster, and they were both down at 7:30. They got up and traded more forearm strikes. Amira missed a spinning back fist, but she hit a spinebuster for a nearfall at 9:00. Amira nearly crashed into the ref! B3cca hit a pump kick and a suplex, then she re-applied the cross-armbreaker, and this time, Amira tapped out. That was really good.

B3cca defeated Amira to retain the BST Monarch Title at 9:54.

* Donovan Dijak came out for the next match. He was supposed to face Kylon King, who couldn’t make it. Who will step up to take that spot? Out came Ichiban!

7. Donovan Dijak vs. Ichiban (w/Andy Brown) for the BST Title. Brown immediately headed to the back. They locked up, and the taller Dijak easily shoved Ichiban to the mat. Ichiban tried a springboard crossbody block at 2:30, but Dijak caught him and threw him over the top rope to the floor! They brawled on the floor, and Dijak slammed him back-first on the apron at 4:00. In the ring, Dijak was in charge, and he kept Ichiban grounded. Dijak set up for a chokeslam at 7:00, but Ichiban hit a stunner! He hit a top-rope missile dropkick.

Ichiban went for a moonsault press, but Dijak caught him. So, Ichiban turned it into a Tornado DDT. Dijak nailed a Choke Bomb for a nearfall at 8:30. Dijak nailed a Death Valley Driver for a nearfall. Dijak hit a superkick. Ichiban hit a Canadian Destroyer and a Code Red for a nearfall at 11:00. Dijak went for a top-rope chokeslam, but Ichiban escaped. Ichiban hit a frog splash for a nearfall at 12:30. Dijak nailed a Mafia Kick. He set up for a Feast Your Eyes pop-up knee strike, but Ichiban avoided it. Seconds later, Dijak nailed the Feast Your Eyes knee and got the pin. Good match.

Donovan Dijak defeated Ichiban to retain the BST Title at 13:32.

8. The Big Jym Rumble. This sounds like it has normal WWE-style rules, and the winner is getting a title shot against Dijak in September. Joseph “A-Game” Alexander drew No. 1. Richard Holliday drew No. 2! With 50 minutes left on this show, this will likely go on for a while! They brawled at the bell. Devious Cass was No. 3 at 2:30; Holliday went for His Signature Move (the low blow), but Cass avoided it. Holliday tossed both over the top rope, but both held on. The popular, flamboyant Julezee drew No. 4 at 4:30. No eliminations yet.

Anthony Greene drew No. 5 and brawled with Cass. Kurt Adonis was No. 6 at 8:30; he’s older with graying hair. Holliday teased going for His Signature Move on Adonis. Brett Ryan Gosselin drew No. 7. Holliday charged at Adonis but fell over the top rope to the floor at 12:00! The crowd laughed at Richard. BRG immediately tossed Adonis. Adonis hit His Signature Move on Adonis, jumped back into the ring, and hit it on everyone remaining before leaving. Jose Zamora drew No. 8. Kwesi Asante drew No. 9 at 14:30, and he immediately hit some Exploder Suplexes, then a standing moonsault on Greene.

Kwesi tossed Devious Cass; we have six in the ring. The massive Bobby Buffet was No. 10 at 16:30. (They have been pretty standard two-minute intervals!) Buffet flattened Asante with a senton. A-Game threw Buffet in a corner and hit some jab punches. Jay Onyx was No. 11 at 18:30. We have eight in the ring. Shawn Knyte was No. 12, and he superkicked Zamora, then hit a German Suplex on Greene. A-Game and Knyte began shoving each other! Buffet hit a double clothesline on both of them.

Sammi Chaos was No. 13 (and the first woman) at 22:30. She’s taller and heavier than many of the guys, and she stood on Julezee in the corner. She hit a headbutt that dropped A-Game. She unloaded some chops on Buffet, so he chopped her, too. Johnny Medina (No. 14) and Peter Gianni (No. 15) ran in together! A commentator said Gianni isn’t legal yet! Sammi beat them both up. Andy Brown was No. 16; the commentators reiterated he’s actually No. 15, but Gianni shouldn’t be in there yet. Brown hit a rolling cannonball, and he tossed Gianni! Medina also was tossed! The ring announcer said Gianni was eliminated, so the commentary team accepted that he was legally in.

Knyte and Buffet fought on the apron, and Buffet was kicked to the floor! Knyte was (accidentally???) eliminated by Onyx! Onyx was eliminated. Angelo Carter entered at No. 17 at 29:30. Julezee was tossed. A big guy named T. Phoenix was No. 18. Sammi Chaos was tossed. Brown hit a Pounce on BRG, then tossed Brett at 33:00. Greene tossed Zamora. I am seeing SIX guys in the ring. Ryan Fraust, an older, white, bald man, was No. 19, and he hit everyone with a kendo stick. He squared off with T. Phoenix; their combined age is probably 80 to 85.

Fraust bodyslammed the big T. Phoenix. The seven-footer Oxx Adams drew No. 20 at 36:30. He immediately brawled with Fraust. T. Phoenix and Oxx clotheslined Fraust to the floor. Gabriel Skye drew No. 21. Someone was tossed during Skye’s intro; the cameras missed it. Skye hit a German Suplex on Kwesi. J Bouji was No. 22 and the final entrant at 40:30! I am seeing SEVEN guys remaining in the ring. A-Game and Bouji worked together. Bouji eliminated Skye!

Brown hit a jumping knee on A-Game; A-Game hit his own jumping knee, and he tossed Andy Brown at 43:00! We’re down to five! Angelo (accidentally???) kicked teammate Kwesi off the apron to the floor! Our final four are Angelo, A-Game, Greene, and J Bouji. Teammates A-Game and Angelo traded blows! Bouji hit a springboard double stunner on both. Both Bouji and Angelo fell to the floor at 46:00! It’s Greene vs. A-Game!

Alexander hit a double-underhook suplex. Greene kicked the ropes to crotch A-Game, and he hit an inverted suplex, dropping A-Game stomach-first, and they were both down at 48:00. They got up and traded punches and forearm strikes. Greene nailed a superkick. Greene hit a swinging slam. A-Game hit his jumping knee. Greene hit a heel hook kick to the jaw. A-Game hit his jumping knee to the sternum, and he tossed Greene to win! That was fun.

Joseph “A-Game” Alexander won the 22-person (21 men, one woman) Big Jym Rumble at 49:36.

Final Thoughts: A really strong show, and I really don’t know why they waited so long to release this. I’m fearful it will “fall between the cracks because it was released two months after it occurred. I’ll go with Titus-Waller for best, ahead of Dijak-Ichiban. I really liked B3cca-Amira, so that takes third. The Rumble match itself was pretty entertaining and earned honorable mention.

It’s been a while since I had seen one of their shows, so I had forgotten that the commentary would begin once the main show got underway. When this began, I was startled at the small crowd and lack of commentary, but that was just for the pre-show.

No major negatives.
