AEW All Out results: Powell’s live review of Will Ospreay vs. Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage vs. FTR vs. Young Bucks in a CLT match for the AEW Tag Titles

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

AEW All Out
Chicago, Illinois, at NOW Arena
Aired live September 26, 2026, on pay-per-view

AEW All Out pre-show results: Jack Perry beat Katsuyori Shibata in 9:15, Skye Blue and Julia Hart beat Queen Aminata and Mina Shirakawa in 9:55, and Jay White, Ace Austin, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn beat David Finlay, Clark Connors, Wheeler Yuta, and Daniel Garcia in 12:10 in a Tailgate Brawl…

A video package opened the show, and then pyro shot off on the stage… Excalibur, Taz, and Tony Schiavone were on commentary. Excalibur touted that the show was sold out…

Ring announcer Arkady Aura conducted the introductions for the opening match while the entrances took place. Pac entered through the crowd. Renee Paquette spoke about the match from ringside. Andrade El Idolo made his entrance with three women and his contract for a shot at the AEW World Championship. The broadcast team noted that he must give one week’s notice before that title match will be held. Schiavone once again made Andrade a little less cool by telling viewers how cool Andrade is…

1. Andrade El Idolo vs. Pac (w/Marina Shafir) for the AEW National Championship. Pac performed a German Suplex. Andrade got up and put Pac down with a spinning back elbow. Andrade sold the elbow by slowly going for the cover, resulting in a two count.

Shafir went after Andrade’s nose while Pac distracted the referee. Excalibur said Andrade’s charm did not affect Shafir (how you know?). A short time later, Shafir charged Andrade on the floor, but Andrade sidestepped her and pushed her over the barricade.

Andrade eventually posed for a selfie with a female fan. Shafir showed up and choked out the “fan” with a sleeper. Pac hit the distracted Andrade from behind. Pac followed up with a top rope moonsault onto Andrade on the floor. Shafir hopped the barricade and was back at ringside.

A short time later, Pac performed a top rope huracanrana. Andrade was right back on his feet and hit a spinning back elbow. Pac scrambled and escaped the ring before Andrade could pin him. Andrade followed to the floor and charged Pac, who suplexed him against the barricade.

Back in the ring, Andrade avoided Pac’s Black Arrow. Andrade set up for The DM, but Shafir climbed onto the apron and distracted him. Andrade wanted a kiss on the cheek, and she said she’d do it, but Pac performed a Poison Rana. Pac ran the ropes and hit a big lariat. Pac applied the Brutalizer, but Andrade rolled on top of him and got the three count.

Andrade El Idolo defeated Pac in 18:40 to retain the AEW National Championship.

Powell’s POV: I could have done without Andrade taking big moves and popping right up, but it was a good opener overall. I liked Shafir’s role in the match, even if the interference turned off some viewers. By the way, WrestleTix listed the venue as being set up for 9,338, with 9,338 tickets distributed, making it a sellout. The last time AEW ran the venue, 8,968 tickets were distributed for the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view on December 27, 2025.

A video package set up the match to determine the No. 1 contenders to the AEW Tag Team Titles. Entrances for the match followed. Steven stood on the middle rope and played to the fans until Fletcher pulled his legs out from under him. Steven bounced on the top rope and landed smoothly on his feet…

2. Darby Allin and Steven Borden vs. Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight to determine the No. 1 contenders to the AEW Tag Team Titles. Don Callis sat in with the broadcast team. On the floor, Knight whipped Darby toward the ring steps, but he did a handspring into a flip toward Fletcher, who caught him and powerbombed him on top of the steps. Back in the ring, Fletcher covered Darby for a two count.

Fletcher lawn darted Darby into the middle turnbuckle. Callis questioned when the match would be stopped to save Darby from himself. Darby made a hot tag while he was over Fletcher’s shoulder, but the referee was busy arguing with Knight and missed it. Darby sent Fletcher and Knight crashing into one another and made a hot tag.

Borden had a nice flurry of offense on both opponents. Borden went for a Stinger Splash, but Fletcher moved, and Borden tumbled over the top rope to the floor. Fletcher and Knight ran Borden into the barricade. Darby hit Fletcher with a suicide dive that sent Fletcher’s head slamming against the side of the broadcast team’s desk. Knight jumped off the broadcast table and clotheslined Darby.

Back in the ring, Borden and Knight stood on the top rope. They dove at one another, and both men were down. The referee called for Doc Sampson, who entered the ring and checked on Borden. A replay showed that Borden and Knight basically reached out with their hands to slap the other’s chests just to make some contact, but Borden’s head hit the mat hard. The bell rang to end the match, and the ring announcer named Fletcher and Knight the winners…

Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight defeated Darby Allin and Steven Borden via ref stoppage in 12:25 to become the No. 1 contenders to the AEW Tag Team Titles.

The broadcast team spoke at their desk about the stoppage. The heels gloated as they exited. Taz said that the priority is for the men and women in the ring regardless of who likes it. He spoke about his own experience. The fans started applauding while Excalibur was saying that AEW has the best medical team in the business. Excalibur said Borden was leaving the ringside area, but he was not shown. He said they would pass along any updates they get during the show…

Powell’s POV: Borden’s head hit the mat, and he immediately struck the fencing pose that is common with concussions. I’m not sure what Borden and Knight were going for, but the timing seemed off. Here’s wishing Borden the best.

Excalibur acknowledged the awkward transition as they shifted to footage from Wednesday’s Collision of Persephone and Britt Baker’s backstage promo. They agreed to face Thunder Rosa and Hyan and Dynamite, and Persephone announced the open challenge for anyone other than Rosa or Hyan…

Persephone made her entrance with Britt Baker. The open challenger, Dani Luna, made her entrance to a quiet crowd…

3. Persephone (w/Britt Baker) vs. Dani Luna for the TBS Championship. The broadcast team said Persephone and Baker seemed to expect that someone from within the AEW locker room would have taken the challenge. Roughly nine minutes into the match, Persephone performed a nasty German Suplex on the apron. Persephone rolled Luna back inside the ring and covered her for a near fall. Persephone showed frustration over not getting the pin.

Back in the ring, Persephone rolled into a Kimura lock. Luna threw punches at Persephone’s side and eventually broke the hold with an elbow strike. The wrestlers traded blows and ended up colliding in the middle of the ring. Persephone got up first and set up for a springboard move, but Luna cut her off and sent her to the apron.

Luna stood on the middle rope and pulled Persephone into a German Suplex for a close near fall. Taz said he’s seen a lot of suplexes, and he didn’t know if he’d ever seen someone perform that move. Luna got Persephone on her shoulders and then transitioned into a variation of a powerbomb. Luna went for the pin, but Baker interfered without the referee seeing it. Luna hit Baker with a suicide dive.

Persephone returned the favor by hitting Luna with a suicide dive. Persephone rolled Luna back inside the ring, but Luna hit her with a knee strike. Luna went for the German Suplex from the apron again, but held Persephone’s foot. Persephone got back in the ring and performed a crucifix bomb before getting the three count…

Persephone defeated Dani Luna in 14:05 to retain the TBS Championship.

Powell’s POV: I enjoy Luna’s work, but she’s just not going to live up to whatever open challenger ideas most fans conjure up in their minds. Of course, it didn’t help that this match had to follow Steven Borden’s medical issue. The live crowd never got all that loud, but they definitely got more invested as the match went on, which is a credit to the good work of both wrestlers. Luna is a nice addition to the AEW women’s roster.

A video package set up the AEW International Championship match. Tommaso Ciampa made his entrance and stopped at ringside to kiss his wife and daughter. Excalibur noted that it was Ciampa’s daughter’s eighth birthday. Kazuchika Okada made his entrance with Don Callis…

4. Kazuchika Okada vs. Tommaso Ciampa for the AEW International Championship. Don Callis sat in on commentary. An “AEW” chant broke out after the bell rang. A few minutes in, Ciampa caught Okada returning to the ring with a big knee strike that sent him back to the floor. Ciampa followed and placed Okada on top of the Spanish broadcast table before drilling him with a knee strike.

Ciampa waved at Callis, who yelled that he had no respect or class. Ciampa tossed Okada back in the ring and then turned back to Callis, who hid behind the other announcers while Ciampa jawed at him. When Ciampa returned to the ring, Okada powered him up and let him fall face-first to the mat. Schiavone said something about respect to Callis, who told him to shut up. Schiavone said it was starting to sound like his house. Funny.

Ciampa came back and set up for an Air Raid Crash from the middle rope. Okada slipped away and dropkicked Ciampa, whose head hit the top of the ring post. Okada followed him to the floor and used the barricade while performing a Draping DDT in front of Ciampa’s wife and daughter. Okada turned back and smiled at them.

Okada returned to the floor and asked Ciampa’s daughter for a high-five. When she didn’t oblige, Okada flipped her off. She responded by holding up both middle fingers. Ciampa returned to the floor and worked over Okada in front of his cheering wife and daughter. Ciampa drilled Okada with a knee strike. Ciampa put his daughter on his shoulder while the fans cheered. This was a really fun sequence.

A short time later, Ciampa had Okada down in a corner of the ring. Ciampa went for a running knee strike, but Okada stuffed it and hit a neckbreaker over his knee. Ciampa teased the Rainmaker pose and instead flipped off the hard camera and then stuck his middle finger in Ciampa’s face. Ciampa bit Okada’s finger and eventually stomped his hand.

Ciampa performed a German Suplex, but Okada popped right up and dropkicked him. Ciampa hit a big boot and then hit a Backstabber that led to a good near fall. A “this is awesome” chant broke out. Moments later, Okada pulled out a screwdriver from a turnbuckle while Callis distracted the referee. Okada jumped off the middle rope, but Ciampa blasted him with a knee strike.

Ciampa went for another running knee, but Okada blocked it and performed a German Suplex. Okada went for a Rainmaker, but Ciampa ducked it. Ciampa also avoided a dropkick. Ciampa ended up hitting a dropkick of his own and went for a Rainmaker, but Okada stuffed it. Ciampa hit an elbow strike and then went for a knee strike, but Okada rolled him into a pin for a two count. Okada clotheslined Ciampa. Okada performed a tilt-a-whirl side slam and then hit the Rainmaker for the win.

Kazuchika Okada defeated Tommaso Ciampa in 21:05 for the AEW International Championship.

Afterward, Okada flipped off someone in the crowd. When he exited the ring, he held up his hand for a high-five to taunt Ciampa’s daughter while talking past her…

Powell’s POV: As someone who didn’t spend 2018 wondering “What if?” (see Ciampa’s Dynamite/Collision promo), this match exceeded my expectations. You never know what you’ll get when wrestlers include their family members, but Ciampa’s daughter Willow was great. She showed the right amount of anger at the right time without going overboard, and was also believable as she joined her mother in cheering for her dad. Well done, kid.

Tony Schiavone announced that Steven Borden is conscious, responsive, and just arrived at the hospital. A member of the medical team also said that the doctor just arrived and was seeing Borden. Taz said Borden is tough and will pull through. Taz wished Borden and his family the best…

Nigel McGuinness replaced Taz on commentary, and Justin Roberts replaced Arkady Aura as the ring announcer…

Entrances for the Chicago Street Fight took place. Divine Dominion was out first, followed by the Brawling Birds…

5. “The Brawling Birds” Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor vs. “Divine Dominion” Megan Bayne and Lena Kross in a Chicago Street Fight for the AEW Women’s Tag Team Titles. The wrestlers broke out the weapons, including chairs and a trash can lid. Bayne had Windsor seated in a corner of the ring with a chair in front of her. Bayne picked up a gold chair and threw it at Windsor. Bayne followed up with a big boot that knocked Hayter off the apron into a Kross powerbomb through a table. Windsor bled from the forehead.

A short time later, Hayter DDT’d Bayne onto a chair wrapped in barbed wire. Bayne bled from the forehead. Hayter and Windsor sandwiched Kross with simultaneous chairs to the body. All four wrestlers sat down on chairs in the middle of the ring and traded blows. They got to their feet, and the Birds both hit headbutts. The Birds ran the ropes, only to have Bayne and Kross throw chairs at them. Bayne hit Hayter with an F5 on top of a chair for a near fall.

Hayter avoided a Helluva Kick from Kross, and then Windor hit Kross with a Helluva Kick. Bayne performed a Double German Suplex on Hayter and Kross. The challengers grabbed a piece of the barricade and slid it inside the ring. Bayne wedged a chair between the ropes while Kross leaned the barricade in the opposite corner.

Hayter stood up and blasted Bayne with a kendo stick until Kross hit her with a chair. Kross worked over Hayter with the kendo stick and then tried to suplex both opponents simultaneously, but they reversed it and suplexed her onto the barricade in the corner. The Birds went for their Hart Attack clothesline finisher on Kross, but Bayne broke it up by clotheslining Hayter. The challengers powerbombed Windsor on two chairs that were set up in the ring. Ouch. Bayne covered Windsor, but Hayter broke up the pin.

The challengers grabbed a board covered in barbed wire from ringside and brought it inside the ring. They leaned in a corner of the ring, and then Kross wedged another chair between the ropes in the opposite corner. The challengers tried to run the champions into the barbed wire board and chair, but they stopped short. Windsor charged Kross, who sidestepped her and sent her crashing into the table. Hayter suplexed Bayne through the barbed wire board.

Kross poured a bag of tacks in the middle of the ring. Kross went for a move on Windsor, who slipped away. Bayne returned with a chain wrapped around her fist and hit Kross with it. Windsor hoisted up Kross, and then Bayne blasted her with her Hayterade clothesline with the chain wrapped around her fist. Windsor covered Kross for the win…

“The Brawling Birds” Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor defeated “Divine Dominion” Megan Bayne and Lena Kross in a Chicago Street Fight in 17:35 to retain the AEW Women’s Tag Team Titles.

Powell’s POV: The build for this match was weak, but the actual match was gritty and lived up to the Chicago Street Fight billing. All four wrestlers worked really hard. The big question is what’s next, as they are the two standout teams in a division that is light on credible teams.

Excalibur hyped AEW Blood & Guts for November 4 in Jacksonville and then a brief video package aired…

The broadcast team spoke at their desk. Schiavone spoke over a mic that the fans could hear and reiterated that Steven Borden was conscious and responsive. Schiavone said Borden had a CT scan and was talking about the match…

Powell’s POV: Schiavone didn’t have much new information, but this was done to give the live crowd an update. I don’t think the fans in the building were aware of the first announcement, so it was a good move to essentially repeat it.

A video package set up the AEW Trios Title match. The challengers made their entrance, and then the champions followed…

6. Swerve Strickland, Kofi, and Austin Creed (w/Prince Nana) vs. Hangman Page, Bandido, and Brody King for the AEW Trios Titles. Kofi and Bandido had a fast-paced exchange that ended in a standoff and a handshake while the fans applauded. King and Creed had the next exchange. There were loud “F— ICE” chants.

King sat Creed on a chair on the floor and then performed a running crossbody block. Page tagged in. Creed drove Page back into his corner. Page held his arms up while he was going into the champions’ corner, and one of his hands hit Swerve.

Page and Bandido worked over Creed. Page ran the ropes for a move, but Swerve pulled him to the floor, where they traded punches until Swerve tossed Page into the timekeeper’s area. Page got right up and traded more punches with Swerve. King pulled Page back and tried to calm him down, while Kofi and Creed did the same with Swerve.

Later, Swerve held Bandido back from tagging out. Swerve let go of Bandido and rushed to the corner, where he knocked Page and King off the apron with punches. Page got pissed and went after Swerve. In the ring, Bandido popped up Kofi, who ended up standing on his shoulders until he fell into a big cutter.

King tagged in and had a run of offense, which resulted in him covering Creed. Swerve entered the ring and casually kicked King to break up the pin. Swerve tagged in, and then King tagged Page. The crowd popped big as Swerve and Page traded blows. They eventually booed when Creed pulled Page to the floor. Swerve performed a backflip dive over the top rope onto Page at ringside.

King ran Kofi into the barricade. King stood on the floor and draped Woods over the barricade with Bandido beneath him. Page performed a shooting star press off the apron on Kofi, who fell onto Bandido’s knees. Kofi hit a standing Stomp on Bandido. Swerve jumped off the apron and hit Page with a House Call on the Floor. All six men were down temporarily.

A short time later, Creed powered up King on his shoulders while Bandido powered up Kofi and Swerve on his shoulders. King slipped away and then powered up Creed on top of Kofi and Swerve for a triple Samoan Drop by Bandido for a huge crowd pop. Bandido petformed a moonsault onto all three champions on the floor.

Back in the ring, Bandido and King performed a Double 21 Plex on two champions. King put Creed down with a piledriver while his partners hit suicide dives on Swerve and Kofi. King covered Creed for a near fall. King sat Creed on the top turnbuckle and then threw punches at him from the middle rope. Kofi kicked King, who was powerbombed by Creed. Swerve tagged in, and then Creed hit a leg drop from the top rope on King. Swerve followed up with a 450 splash on King. All three champions covered King, who kicked out at the last moment.

Swerve stood in his corner and yelled, “Whose house?” while King was kneeling in front of him. Page cut in Swerve’s path. Kofi caught Page with a kick. There was a series of big moves from all of the wrestlers until all six men were down in the ring. Page went for a Buckshot Lariat on Swerve, but Creed took it instead. Swerve hit Page with a House Call. Bandido drilled Swerve with a GTS. Bandido went for a 21 Plex on Swerve, who landed on his feet, hit Big Pressure, and scored the pin…

Swerve Strickland, Kofi, and Austin Creed defeated Hangman Page, Bandido, and Brody King in 24:05 to retain the AEW Trios Titles.

Powell’s POV: Schiavone said afterward that this was as good a trios match as you’ll see anywhere. Schiavone wasn’t laying it on too thick with his praise for a change. This was great. The live crowd was hot throughout, but they really came to life whenever Swerve and Page mixed it up.

A video package set up the match to determine the No. 1 contender to the AEW Women’s Championship. Thekla made her entrance wearing a face mask that lit up and had smoke coming out of it. Willow Nightingale made her entrance to a favorable, though hardly overwhelming, reaction…

7. Thekla vs. Willow Nightingale for a shot at the AEW Women’s Championship at the WrestleDream pay-per-view. Willow performed an early shoulder tackle and followed up with a senton splash. The referee checked on Thekla, and McGuinness expressed concern because it looked like she was trying to roll out of the way and had Willow land awkwardly on top of her. After a series of back-and-forth pin attempts, Willow hit Thekla with the Pounce.

Willow went to the ropes a short time later and was struck by Thekla, causing her to fall to the floor. Thekla jumped off the apron and double stomped Willow’s back. Thekla ran Willow into the barricade. Back in the ring, Thekla caught Willow in an armbar while leaning backwards over the ropes. Willow powered up Thekla, who performed a joint manipulation on Willow’s bad hand. Thekla followed up by stomping Willow’s hand.

Thekla dominated the majority of the offense for the next few minutes. Willow rallied with a Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Thekla came back with a stomp on Willow’s bad hand. Thekla struck her spider pose and then speared Willow. Thekla covered Willow, who bridged out of it and held that position while Thekla struck her spider pose again. Willow pushed up to match the spider pose. They got up and traded blows. Willow connected with a lariat and both women stayed down.

Julia Hart came out and distracted the referee while Skye Blue showed up and hit Willow with one of the Stardom title belts. Hart entered the ring and accidentally struck Thekla with her Stardom title belt while the referee was focused on Blue. Once the extras were out of the ring, Willow went for her finisher, but she couldn’t power up Thekla due to her bad hand. Thekla stomped Willow’s bad hand and then hit a traditional Stomp before covering her for the win.

Thekla defeated Willow Nightingale in 13:35 to earn a shot at the AEW Women’s Championship at the WrestleDream pay-per-view.

Afterward, AEW Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone came out wearing a face shield and dangled her title belt between the legs…

Powell’s POV: It was pretty good aside from the needless outside interference. Willow’s hand injury gave her enough of an out for losing. I hope Thekla leans into some of the cheers she’s been getting. I think she could be a really fun foil for Mercedes.

An ad aired for AEW WrestleDream on Saturday, October 17, in Orlando, Florida…

A video package set up the AEW Tag Team Championship match. FTR and Stokely Hathaway made the first entrance. The Young Bucks were out next. Matt Jackson stopped at ringside to kiss his wife in the front row. Adam Copeland entered while the fans sang his theme song. The fans also sang after the song stopped. Christian Cage made the final entrance without wearing a wrist brace…

8. Adam Copeland and Christian Cage vs. “FTR” Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler (w/Stokely Hathaway) vs. “The Young Bucks” Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson in a three-way match with chairs, ladders, and tables for the AEW Tag Team Titles. Tables, ladders, and chairs were set up all over the ringside area. Several referees were on the floor. Matt performed an early DDT on Copeland and fell on a chair. Matt clutched his lower back and quickly went back to performing moves with his brother. FTR stood on the floor holding a ladder. The Bucks went for a double baseball slide.

In a fun twist on a tired spot, FTR raised the ladder while the Bucks slid partially under it, and then slammed it on their back a few times. Copeland and Christian did the overdone spot of kicking the ladder into both teams. Copeland and Christian went up top and dove onto their opponents on the floor. Christian was bleeding from a cut near his eye.

Later, Copeland set up a ladder bridge over the middle rope and a standing ladder. Harwood ended up suplexing Copeland onto the bridge. Christian and Wheeler hit stereo top rope splashes onto their downed opponents.

The Bucks eventually returned to the ring. Matt backdropped Wheeler from the apron through a table on the floor. Nick performed a 450 to put Harwood through another table on the floor. Copeland pulled Matt off the apron with a DDT onto a table that didn’t break. Ouch.

Christian cut off Nick on the ropes and then performed an avalanche Killswitch onto a ladder that was lying in the ring. Hathaway entered the ring and threw powder in Christian’s eyes. Hathaway positioned a table under the belts and climbed high enough to touch them, but Copeland returned to the ring. Copeland pushed the ladder over, and Hathaway fell through a table that was set up on the floor. Wow.

Copeland climbed the ladder, but Harwood returned and pulled him down. Wheeler showed up and hit Copeland with a chair. Harwood got Copeland on the apron, and then Wheeler joined him in performing a spike piledriver. The Bucks went right after FTR and hit one of their signature spots on Harwood on the floor.

The Bucks got Harwood and Copeland on tables and then climbed a couple of ladders. The Bucks counted down and performed stereo dives that put their opponents through tables. Wheeler dove through the ropes and through the legs of a ladder to hit Christian with a suicide dive.

Two ladders were set up, and all six men climbed them and made plays for the belts. Nick ended up being the last man on a ladder, but Harwood pulled him into a Shatter Machine with Wheeler. A “this is awesome” chant broke out. Copeland pulled Harwood’s head through the rungs of the ladder, and then he and Christian performed a Conchairto.

Harwood made a play for the belts. Copeland and Christian followed and went for another Conchairto, but he avoided it. Wheeler pushed Copeland’s ladder over, and Copeland ended up crotching himself on the top rope. Nick springboarded his way onto the ladder and shoved Wheeler off. Wheeler’s feet hit the ropes on the way down. Matt joined his brother on the ladders, and they hit Christian with a BTE Trigger before pulling down the belts for the win.

“The Young Bucks” Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson defeated Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, and “FTR” Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler in a three-way match with chairs, ladders, and tables in 23:25 to win the AEW Tag Team Titles.

Excalibur said the Bucks were the first team to hold the AEW Tag Team Titles four times…

Powell’s POV: They may have set a new record for most tables broken during a TLC-style match in a major company. This one somehow exceeded my expectations when it came to craziness, carnage, and entertainment value. It’s one of those matches where you just hope everyone made it out in one piece. Damn.

Excalibur said we are on the precipice of a highly anticipated return. A Wardlow video package aired. Excalibur said Wardlow is one of the most dangerous men in the AEW locker room, and then said he’s one of the most dangerous men on Earth…

A video package set up the AEW World Championship match. Jon Moxley was shown in a hallway, where Marina Shafir slapped him. Moxley, Shafir, Wheeler Yuta, and Daniel Garcia made their entrance through the crowd.

A violinist performed on the stage. A video aired that mixed footage from the Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag video game and Ospreay’s run to the championship. Ospreay was shown outside the building, where Francesco Akira and Mike Bailey held up a flag that he set on fire. The fans chanted Ospreay’s name as the trio walked through the back. Ospreay looked into the camera and said, “Let’s f—in’ end this.” Ospreay walked up the steps and then made his entrance. Shafir, Yuta, and Garcia turned their backs to the ring while Ospreay played to the crowd as part of his entrance…

9. Will Ospreay (w/Mike Bailey, Francesco Akira) vs. Jon Moxley (w/Marina Shafir, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia) for the AEW World Championship. Justin Roberts delivered in-ring introductions for the championship match. Paul Turner was the referee. The bell rang. The fans chanted Ospreay’s name.

A few minutes in, the wrestlers traded chops. Ospreay performed a head scissors takedown that resulted in Moxley rolling to the floor. Ospreay dove over the top rope onto Moxley. Ospreay looked to the crowd and smiled while Bailey and Akira approached Moxley’s extras to make sure they didn’t get involved. Back in the ring, Ospreay got Moxley on the ropes and set up for a superplex, but Moxley fought back and bit his forehead.

Moxley raked Ospreay’s back and then performed a DDT on the top turnbuckle. Ospreay tumbled to the floor and came up with a bloody forehead. Moxley pressed Ospreay against the ropes and then used his arms to club him a few times before kicking the top rope. Moxley put Ospreay down with a neckbreaker and covered him for a one count. Moxley drove his knee into Ospreay’s back and then bit his finger.

Later, Moxley performed a Gotch-style piledriver for a near fall. Moxley showed frustration. The referee looked to the ringside physician a couple of times to sell the damage to Ospreay, but the match continued. Ospreay and Moxley traded blows in the middle of the ring. “Come on, Will,” Moxley shouted. Ospreay threw a couple of elbow strikes, but Moxley dropped him with a big lariat.

Moxley went for a Stomp, but Ospreay pressed his hands on the mat and blocked it. Ospreay rallied with a big rolling elbow and a powerbomb for a near fall. Ospreay put Moxley down with a Styles Clash for a near fall. Ospreay got up and hit a springboard cutter for a near fall.

Ospreay set up for a Hidden Blade, but Shafir grabbed his foot. The referee caught her. Yuta tried to enter the ring, but Bailey stopped him. The refere turned his attention to the arguing. Moxley sidestepped an Ospreay move, and Ospreay crashed into the referee, who fell to the floor. REF BUMP!!! Yuta and Garcia attacked Bailey and Akira. Ospreay stuffed a move and then hit Moxley with a Hidden Blade and got a visual pinfall. Yuta kicked Ospreay. Yuta ran toward Ospreay, who moved, and then Akira hit Yuta with a springboard move. Garcia ran in to help Yuta. Akira held his own for a bit, but the heels ended up tossing him to the floor.

Bailey entered the ring and cleared Yuta and Garcia, then hit them with a mooonsault on the floor. Shafir swung at Bailey, who blocked it, and shoved her to the mat. Pac showed up and hit Bailey with the briefcase that Moxley used when he was the AEW World Champion. Pac wanted to hit Ospreay with the briefcase. Andrade El Idolo showed up. Andrade pulled Pac to the floor and hit him with a spinning back elbow. Andrade tossed Pac over the top rope.

In the ring, Moxley hit a Paradigm Shift, but Ospreay drilled him with a Hidden Blade. The referee was still down. Ospreay set up for another Hidden Blade, but Shafir hit him with the briefcase. Shafir shoved the referee back inside the ring, which led to a slow count for a Moxley near fall. Shafir kicked the referee and cleared him from the ring. REF BUMP 2!!! Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter came out and cleared Shafir to the floor.

Moxley picked up the briefcase and then barked at Ospreay about how he gave him everything he had. Moxley struggled with hitting Ospreay with the briefcase, but he eventually did. Moxley covered Ospreay and a second referee ran out and counted the near fall. Moxley hit two Paradigm Shifts. Moxley followed up with a Death Rider, but he only got a near fall.

Moxley applied the Bulldog Choke. Ospreay eventually bit his way free. Moxley went for the hold again, but Ospreay used his feet to push off the ropes and roll over Moxley. Ospreay hit a Hidden Blade and then followed up with a Stormbreaker. Ospreay covered Moxley, who kicked out at the last moment. Ospreay removed his elbow pad and tossed it into the crowd. Ospreay waited for Moxley to get to his knees. Moxley laughed and accepted his fate by laughing before Ospreay drilled him with a Hidden Blade. Ospreay covered Moxley for the three count.

Will Ospreay defeated Jon Moxley in roughly 33:00 to retain the AEW World Championship.

Ospreay celebrated his win while Moxley was still down. Ospreay went to the middle rope. Moxley got up and took the title belt away from him. Ospreay’s music stopped. Moxley said a few words to Ospreay and then put the title belt over his shoulder. Moxley offered his hand. Moxley and Ospreay slapped hands and bumped fists. Moxley rolled out of the ring. Ospreay’s music played while Moxley and Shafir were on the floor to close the show…

Powell’s POV: I can’t use the word great to describe this match. It took a bit to get going, I’m not a fan of the outside interference, and the predictability of the outcome worked against them to some extent. Still, it was a good main event to close out a very good show. Did Moxley’s loss set up the end of his run with the Death Riders? I will have more to say about All Out when I team up with Jake Barnett and Will Pruett shortly for our Dot Net Triple Threat same-night audio review for Dot Net Members (including our Patreon patrons). Let us know what you thought of AEW All Out by voting for the match and and grading the overall show below.
