AAA Triplemania 34 (Night One)
August 11, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at MGM Grand Garden Arena

This show streamed live on their YouTube channel. (I hate their YouTube commercial breaks so much I opted to watch this live and wait until later to watch GCW). Corey Graves and JBL provided commentary from ringside.
* Wrestlers were shown arriving at the building.
1. Adelicious, Mascarita Sagrada, and Mini Vikingo vs. Lady Shani, Abismo Negro, and Jack Cartwheel. I will reiterate that Mini Vikingo is a young man. He is not a ‘mini’ like Sagrada is. “He ought to be in social studies somewhere in Tijuana,” JBL fumed about 18-year-old Mini Vikingo. The women opened; Shani wore neon green while Adelicious wore red. Both wore masks. They immediately traded rollups. Shani may be legit injured, and she rolled to her corner. She rolled to the floor at 2:00, and three trainers checked on her.
Sagrada tagged in and faced Negro. Vikingo and Jack entered at 3:30 and traded quick reversals and had a standoff. (Adelicious was still on the ring apron, but she can’t get back into this match!) Jack hit his slingshot elbow drop for a nearfall. JBL complained that Abismo is no mini. Abismo hit a suplex on Vikingo, then a senton for a nearfall at 5:30. Sagrada tagged back in and hit a springboard crossbody block on Abismo.
Jack hit a Twisted Bliss-style frog splash on Sagrada at 7:30. Sagrada hit a suplex on Cartwheel! A big pop for that. Adelicious hit a top-rope crossbody block to the floor onto two guys. Vikingo hit a flip dive to the floor on Jack. In the ring, he hit a top-rope Shooting Star Press to pin Sagrada. Considering the bizarre injury to Lady Shani, they held that together pretty well.
Adelicious and Mascarita Sagrada and Mini Vikingo defeated Lady Shani and Abismo Negro and Jack Cartwheel at 9:14.
* A LONG commercial break, so I rewound to the start of the match. Shani appeared to plant her foot and twist her knee; it was a non-contact injury.
2. “Los Americanos” Rayo and Bravo vs. “LWO” Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro vs. “Tokyo Bad Boys” Kento and Takuma vs. “Fraxiom” Nathan Frazer and Axiom in a four-way elimination match. Kento wore red with reddish hair, Takuma has longer, dark hair. Axiom and Kento opened, with Axiom hitting a dropkick. Cruz entered and hit a backbreaker over his knee on Axiom at 1:00. Bravo wore purple, not blue! He entered and beat up the LWO guys. Cruz hit some chops on Bravo. Frazer hit a dive through the ropes at 3:30. Axiom hit a dive, too.
In the ring, Cruz hit a Lionsault. He went to tag out, but Wilde was busy spraying his hair and had his back to the ring! Cruz tagged him in, but Nathan superkicked Wilde! (That will teach Joaquin to pay attention!) Cruz hit a Coast-to-Coast missile dropkick for a nearfall at 5:30! Wilde accidentally sprayed his hairspray into Cruz’s eyes! Axiom hit a missile dropkick to pin Cruz at 5:57. Cruz and Wilde argued on the floor! The match continued without a break. Los Americanos hit a team move and danced, so Frazer hit a missile dropkick on them.
The Tokyo Bad Boys worked over Frazer. Kento hit a powerbomb on Axiom at 8:00. Takuma hit an impressive top-rope moonsault to the floor! In the ring, Takuma went for a Shooting Star Press, but Frazer got his knees up to block it. Bravo had Takuma on his shoulders while he did a Castagnoli-style Giant Swing on Kento! Axiom pinned Takuma at 9:46, and we’re down to two! Rayo and Frazer traded punches, and Rayo hit a snap German Suplex. Frazer hit a running Shooting Star Press. Rayo hit a flying forearm for a nearfall, and they were both down.
Frazer hit a top-rope superplex and a twisting neckbreaker on Rayo. Axiom and Bravo tagged back in and they traded chops, then traded rollups. Frazer made the save by nailing a superkick on Bravo at 12:30. Axiom hit a springboard flipping DDT on Bravo for a nearfall. Axiom accidentally hit a Missile Dropkick on Frazer! Rayo hit a Flatliner. Bravo hit a Frankensteiner on Frazer; Rayo immediately hit a frog splash for a believable nearfall on Nathan at 15:00. Frazer hit a DDT on Rayo.
Axiom tagged back in and hit a top-rope Spanish Fly on Bravo. Frazer hit a top-rope Phoenix Splash for a believable nearfall, but Rayo made the save, and everyone was down at 16:30, and we got an “Este lucha!” chant. Bravo hit a Rebound Lariat. Rayo got a blind tag and he snapped Frazer’s fingers! Bravo hit a springboard diving headbut on Frazer, with Rayo getting the pin! A fun match. (I’m amused that WWE had three guys pretending to be Latino in this match while Cruz is the only actual Latino of the eight competitors.)
“Los Americanos” Rayo and Bravo defeated “LWO” Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro and “Tokyo Bad Boys” Kento and Takuma and “Fraxiom” Nathan Frazer and Axiom in an elimination match at 17:22.
* Marisala Pena will be inducted into the AAA Hall of Fame on Oct. 24!
* Flammer came out, wearing a dress, and her title belt over her shoulder. She’s coming to ringside to watch the next match! She sat down with the Spanish announce team.
3. Roxanne Perez vs. Nattie Neidhart vs. Faby Apache vs. La Hiedra in a four-way No. 1 contender’s match. All four started in the ring; no tags were needed. They all traded rollups. Roxanne was thrown to the floor. Nattie was also tossed, leaving Hiedra and Faby to trade lucha offense. Roxanne pulled Faby to the floor and threw her into the ring steps at 1:30. In the ring, Roxanne hit a chop block on Hiedra’s left knee and was booed. Nattie pulled Roxanne to the floor and threw her into the ring steps. Nattie and Hiedra traded forearm strikes in the ring. Nattie hit a huracanrana.
Faby hit a Mafia Kick. Faby tied Roxanne in a Surfboard, and Nattie put Hiedra in a Surfboard! Nattie and Faby traded punches at 3:30, and Apache hit a backbreaker over her knee for a nearfall. We saw Flammer watching the match. Roxanne hit a swinging faceplant. Faby tied up Hiedra on the mat and rolled her several times. Nattie put Hiedra in a Sharpshooter. Roxanne jumped on Nattie’s back and raked at Neidhart’s face! Faby applied an inverted Figure Four on Roxanne, but Roxanne turned it into a crossface at 6:00! Faby got a finger on the ropes, but Roxanne rolled her back to the center of the ring.
Roxanne got an O’Connor Roll for a nearfall, but Hiedra hit a senton to break it up. Hiedra hit a Jaded-style faceplant on Roxanne, then a stunner on Nattie for a nearfall. Nattie put Roxanne in a Sharpshooter! Faby hit a bulldog on Nattie to break it up at 8:00. Faby dove to the floor on Nattie. Meanwhile, Hiedra hit a Michinoku Driver on Roxanne for a believable nearfall! Flammer jumped in the ring with her belt, but she nearly (accidentally) struck Hiedra! Roxanne pushed Hiedra into Flammer! Roxanne immediately hit “Pop Rocks” (Code Red) and pinned Hiedra!
Roxanne Perez defeated Nattie Neidhart, Faby Apache and La Hiedra in a No. 1 contender’s match at 9:11.
* Flammer rolled into the ring and yelled at La Hiedra. Corey Graves wondered if they were “disintegrating before our very eyes.”
* Backstage, Rey Mysterio and El Grande Americano spoke about Rey’s match later. Americano vowed to stand by him.
4. La Parka vs. Laredo Kid vs. Mr. Iguana for the AAA Latin American Title. Laredo Kid wore his AAA Mixed Tag Belt. All four fought at the bell. Laredo Kid kicked Iguana in the head in the corner. Iguana hit an enzuigiri on Laredo Kid. La Parka and Iguana traded friendly reversals. Laredo Kid jumped back in and slapped Iguana on the back of the head at 2:00. Laredo hit a moonsault elbow drop. La Parka flipped Iguana off the apron and onto Laredo. La Parka hit a corner moonsault to the floor onto both opponents.
In the ring, La Parka hit a kip-up stunner on Laredo Kid for a nearfall at 4:30, then a backbreaker over his knee. Iguana hit a top-rope crossbody block, then a Crucifix Driver on La Parka for a nearfall! Iguana hit a springboard twisting headbutt on Laredo, then a Shining Wizard for a nearfall at 6:00. Laredo hit a dive through the ropes, crashing head-first into Iguana’s chest. Laredo launched off the ring post and dove onto the other two on the floor. Laredo hit a 450 Splash on Iguana for a nearfall at 7:30.
La Parka jumped in and hit a Lungblower to Laredo Kid’s back for a nearfall. La Parka hit a dropkick to Laredo Kid’s jaw for a nearfall. La Parka dove through the ropes onto Laredo Kid at 9:00! In the ring, Iguana went for a Triangle Choke, but La Parka threw him into the turnbuckles to escape. All three were on the top rope and they executed a Spanish Fly with all three crashing to the mat at 10:30! La Parka tried a pin on Laredo Kid.
La Parka hit a Crucifix Driver on Laredo Kid for a nearfall. Iguana hit a top-rope diving headbutt on a standing Laredo. He slammed Laredo to the mat for a visual pin, but La Parka pulled Iguana to the floor. The good friends argued. Laredo got a rollup on Iguana for a nearfall. La Parka hit a Doomsday Device clothesline on Iguana, then his twisting suplex on Laredo Kid for the pin! Really good action. La Parka danced with a kid in the ring; Mr. Iguana was crying at ringside while holding his stuffed iguana.
La Parka defeated Laredo Kid and Mr. Iguana to retain the AAA Latin American Title at 12:58.
5. “The Psycho Circus” Psycho Clown and Murder Clown and Dave the Clown vs. “Los Perros Del Mal” Daga and Berto and Angel Garza (w/Karmen Petrovik) for the Six-Man Tag Titles. Panic Clown isn’t medically cleared to compete, so Psycho Clown took his place. Berto and Psycho Clown went to start, but all the Perros attacked him. Psycho Clown hit a powerslam on Berto at 1:00. Murder Clown (again, think Abyss in size and build) hit a running splash.
Los Perros stomped on Dave, who wore purple-and-white gear. Daga got a nearfall on Dave in the ring. Los Perros worked over Dave. JBL compared Daga to Eddie Guerrero several times, from his wrestling style to his promos. Murder Clown got a hot tag at 5:00 and hit some hip-tosses and running splashes in the corners. He put both Daga and Angel across his shoulders and hit a double Samoan Drop! Psycho Clown fired up, tore his mask, and dove to the floor.
Murder Clown hit a top-rope crossbody block to the floor at 6:30. Coming out of the crowd, Carnicero attacked Psycho Clown! Carnicero and Psycho Clown fought to the back! Murder Clown was climbing into the ring but Berto grabbed his ankle. Daga hit some enzuigiris on Murder Clown, then a German Suplex for a nearfall at 8:00. Murder Clown hit some clotheslines on Daga, then a top-rope superplex on Daga for a nearfall, but Berto made the save.
Dave hit a hard clothesline on Berto. Karmen hopped on the apron and distracted Dave. Berto threw Dave into the turnbuckles. On the floor, Berto hit a running splash onto Dave against the barricade, and they flipped into a camera area. Meanwhile, Murder Clown was brawling with Daga. Angel got underneath Murder Clown and hit a powerbomb. Daga immediately hit a top-rope double stomp to pin Murder Clown. New champions!
“Los Perros Del Mal” Daga and Berto and Angel Garza defeated “The Psycho Circus” Psycho Clown and Murder Clown and Dave the Clown to win the Six-Man Tag Titles at 10:45.
6. Omos (w/Dominik Mysterio, Dorian Roldan) vs. Rey Mysterio (w/El Grande Americano). Americano wore a suit; he’s not dressed to wrestle. JBL vented that Rey Mysterio attacked Omos when he was “a paying fan” at ringside. The height difference is ridiculous! Rey avoided Omos early on, and he hit some spin kicks to the thighs. Omos dropped him with a hard back elbow at 1:30. Rey hit some baseball slide dropkicks. He tried a plancha, but Omos caught him in his arms! Omos dropped Rey throat-first over the barricade at 3:30.
Omos executed a Gorilla Press to toss Rey back into the ring. In the ring, Omos splashed him in a corner at 5:00. Rey hit another spin kick to the thigh. Omos applied a bear hug and squeezed Rey. He hit an Irish Whip at 8:00 and immediately re-applied the bear hug. Rey pushed Omos into the ropes, and Omos’s arms got tied up in the ropes! Rey unloaded some punches while Omos was tied in the second and top rope. Meanwhile, Americano and Dominik started brawling on the floor! Rey hit a chair shot to Omos’s head at 10:00!
Rey hit a 619, then two more! He hit a dropkick and another 619. Rey hit a top-rope flying seated senton, then a top-rope frog splash for a nearfall at 11:30. Meanwhile, on the floor, Dominik jabbed a chair into Americano’s ribs, then struck Americano across the back with it. He put the chair over Americano’s head and slammed him. In the ring, Omos hit a huge chokeslam for the pin. With the win, Omos has been reinstated to AAA.
Omos defeated Rey Mysterio at 12:38.
* Omos hit some post-match elbow drops on Rey! (I fully expected Galeno to come out for the save, but he didn’t.) Rey was strapped to a board, but Omos picked up Rey and slammed him while Rey was still on the board!
Final Thoughts: Honestly… a pretty lackluster show. Like recent WWE PLEs, this was 2 hours, 40 minutes — but it featured about 40 minutes of commercials. It just kills the pacing to have such long breaks between matches.
The matches were all generally good, perhaps even very good. But this was TripleMania. The show they’ve been hyping for months and months. Yet, nothing stood out tonight as really anything better than some of the recent live episodes of AAA in Mexico. Los Perros Del Mal going from feuding with Penta and Fenix to fighting the Clowns… felt like a really big drop-off. I’ll go with the La Parka three-way for best match, ahead of the four-way tag elimination match. The women’s four-way was fun and takes third.
Three years ago, I saw Omos fight Akira Tozawa at a house show in Rochester, Minn., and it was really entertaining. I couldn’t help but think about that match while watching Rey here, because he’s equally as undersized as Tozawa. Again, Rey-Omos was fine for what it was, but it sure didn’t feel worthy of a main event of Triple Mania. Hopefully, Lady Shani’s injury is a mild knee sprain, but I’ve seen far too many non-contact knee injuries in football and basketball, and for whatever reason, those tend to be the most serious and damaging. I am just assuming that I’m going to like Sunday’s “Night 2” of Triple Mania more than this one.
