WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan hurt during a live event match

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

Liv Morgan’s health is in question with less than a week before she is scheduled to be in the Queen of the Ring tournament finals. The Women’s World Champion appeared to suffer an ankle injury during a four-way match with Sol Ruca, Iyo Sky, and Lyra Valkyria at Sunday’s WWE live event in Birmingham, England. The injury occurred when Ruca performed a springboard dive and landed on Ruca’s right ankle. Morgan grabbed her ankle and rolled to the floor, but she was able to finish the match. Check out the footage below or via JJA Sport Studio’s Twitter X page.

Powell’s POV: The referee held up her fist after checking on Morgan, indicating that she was able to continue the match. That’s encouraging, but the big question is how Morgan felt afterward once the adrenaline wore off. She has yet to address the matter on social media, but she is advertised for an appearance on Raw this afternoon in London. Morgan is scheduled to face Iyo Sky in the Queen of the Ring tournament final on Saturday’s WWE Night of Champions event. Here’s hoping for good news.
